Did you feel the earth move?
It wasn't an eruption of Mount St. Helens.
It wasn't pillow talk during amatory activity.
It was the aktbird57 team,
which is now in position #1!
matrix500 is now in position #6.
Are we not celebrating?

FIRST TEAM!!!!!

Way to Click Wildclickers!!!!!!!! Great going......

I totally agree with ul, we reached a goal and had fun doing it. And, from the sound of the last day or so - it appears the fun has just begun!!!

Aa and Andrew,
Thanks for giving us the opportunity get to know each other and to forge ahead with self determination to reach this position. NUMBER ONE!!!!!!

Staying here just may be as much of a challenge as getting here..........

Keep those clicks clicking!!!!!!

Oh WOW- What a terrific thing to come back to. We done done it, O noble team!
Matric, thanks for the clicks - I will start again on my own. The trip was fantastic- I really think that the two places in which we stayed, the Dordogne and the Pyrenees are among the most beautiful places on earth. I wasn't quite in top form - left with a big case of bonchitis which got bigger and bigger. Started antibiotics yesterday and hope things will turn around soon.
The trip has a lot of high points, but the highest, even tho it was vicarious for me, was the feat of two of our five member group climbing Mt Canigou on the morning that a GPS team went up to measure it for the first time ever. It's on the order of 2,750 meters- Damon - you'll have to translate that. We were thrilled; it was like knowing an astronaut who had walked on the moon.
Hope I'm on the right thread!

Astonished
I am truly astonished @ this team's progress. What a great group!! What an accomplishment.

Thanks to ehBeth for keeping me up to date on the progress at this site. EhBeth has my access to the Rainforest site & I have to admit that I get on there everyday & hope that I've beaten her to click under my name Smile

Aa of course is my hero in all of this. She has such wonderful 'people skills' to get this all started. Thank you Aa!!! :-D

This is a tremendous accomplishment & everyone should be proud. COOL!

Hi andrew T and ehBeth,
We Wildclickers have come a long way. And there are yet more trees in the forest that need help!

wayfarer,
I'm glad you are back!! Your trip sounds great except for the not feeling too well part. I hope you are better now. The 2750 meters is very close to 9020 feet. Those areas you visited are on our list to visit next time we go to Europe. During our recent trip to MS I found a nice set of kitchen knives - Sabatier, from Provence. I had to get the whole set. Just using them to prepare the food makes everything taste better......grin
