@Real Music,
Of course, there are people who cannot abide trump but do not want the supreme court stacked.

There is a segment of the population that wants the court stacked to the left.
There is a segment of the population that wants the court stacked to the right.
There is a segment of the population that wants a more balanced court.

I am part of that population that wants the courts stacked to the left, to insure that it stays to the left for a very long time.

Never met any of this segment. What does that even mean- they are objective and they want the court to be objective?

@Krumple,
Over half of the eligible voters don't vote. Why? Because they believe that all the politicians are the same and the system is rigged. Now comes Trump never been a politician. Bothsides AND the press hate him. He won't be the same old same old. If Trump gets 5% of these people to vote for him it's all over...AND THESE PEOPLE DONT GET POLLED!!!

@ossobucotemp,
Perhaps a bit of underdone potato.

Regardless, there is no good accounting for those sorts of visitations. You just open as many windows as possible and hope the damn thing flies out.

@blatham,
I have enough to deal with - sometimes I agree with others. Not much, but there is room. Don't ask me, I forget.

Meantime, tomorrow breeds non boston clam chowder as happening.

Im fine with the occasional monkey wrench tossed in the IMC from time to time. However the only reason I would want trump is prevent Hillary from obtaining any more grasp. Shes cleverly managed to escape crimes that regular cutizens would be doing hard time for. If the worst thing they can come up with to demonize Trump was inappropriate fondling, ill take it over Hillary.

A balanced court is when a conservative Justice sometimes rule on the same side as the liberal judges to be the tie breaking vote or vice versa. Sometimes they are referred to as the swing vote.

I much prefer a stacked liberal court
6 to 3 in favor of the liberal justices
7 to 2 in favor of the liberal justices
A stacked liberal court would provide a safe cushion.

This conservative activist court has ruled that Section 4 of The Voting Rights Act to be unconstitutional in a 5-4 decision which then opened the flood gates of voter suppression laws

This conservative activist court ruled a 5-4 decision of the Citizen United v. Federal Election Commission (FEC) opening the flood gates of money in politics

Why do you believe that these people don't get polled? Do they not have telephones?

@engineer,
I think he's saying registered voters who are not considered "likely voters" are ignored in some polls.

That's actually true. In some polls.

He's apparently unaware that there are other, "registered voter," polls, and those show even better numbers for Hillary, if I recall correctly.

@engineer,
The people I'm talking about are the ones that are so fed up with the political system that if they were to receive a robocall they would most likely hang up.

It is more than obvious that there is an undercurrent in this country of people who are dissatisfied with the status quo. They feel disaffected and disenfranchised.

As most have admitted this is not a typical election therefore I put very little stock in the polls and even less in a heavily weighted Democratic poll like the one CNN uses.

I believe this election to be in reality a virtual dead heat at this point and all I'm saying is that if Donald Trump pulls 5% of those people who have never voted before, Hillary will not be your next president.

And as a side note, if Hillary is the president-elect in November, I doubt seriously she will be in that position for the entire term of office.
