All Trump had to do for people to say he made his best speech is not be such a prick, and express vague generalized regret for past prickishness. Not a high bar.
Trump's rating have been tanking so badly, his advisers told him to repent. He's doing a piss poor job at it.

What we've been told all during the primaries and now by Jill Stein supporters is that all democrats are to the right of the center on political ideology scales. Your charts must be out of date.
