What about timberlandko?

Northern Wisconsin is not that far away, particularly if it is post-thaw..

Hi!

So, there were some slow-moving and late-breaking developments in the saga of Guth's visit, but looks like it won't be happening. I also have some travel in March. SO -- let's go ahead and make this a summer get-together. Toss out any dates you wish.

If it's after Aug. 1 or 15, I may be out there. (Or I may be in California.)

A MADISON gathering!!

We're going for it! Thinking of either lunch or dinner on Saturday the 11th, 18th, or 25th at Monty's Blue Plate Diner (up for discussion) in Madison.

Who's in?

(Note, nothing definite yet, including whether I will be able to do it... some pending plans.)

That a way people! Do a Chicago Gathering. I'm rather busy with Civil Grand Jury service, but I'll be a good booster if not a attendee. Wink

I've got October 11 - 20 (?) booked off. I'll be at a gardening get-together for another forum booked the 11th/12th. I'll have to take a look at mapquest and see if I could get there and back in time for the 18th to work.

Chicago or Madison is a very real possibility for me. I might just attend. Can I hang around with the group or will I have to watch the festivities from the shadows?

Madison has a coupla lakes. They're nice and algae-ridden, you'd like 'em. Wallow around for a bit, swim to a cleanish part, gyrate, emerge, shake yourself like a dog, and we'll be happy to see you.

But wear something. Your Asian monk outfit would be good, if you're taking requests.

I recommend Cherokee Marsh County Park. The dogs are picking up a nice swampy smell there -- vaguely reminiscent of capybaras, I suspect.

gustav, I'm afraid you made a bad choice if you want to really clean up your image.
