Mr. Sanders will be with Mrs. Clinton in North Carolina on Thursday, resuming events on her behalf that have been focused in states with large populations of white working-class voters.

At a rally on Wednesday night, Mr. Trump maintained that Mr. Sanders would soon withdraw his support for Mrs. Clinton because of lingering ill feelings from their primary fight.

Mr. Sanders’s schedule, which includes Clinton events this weekend in Iowa, suggests otherwise.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Senator Bernie Sanders spoke at Youngstown State University’s Stambaugh Stadium Thursday afternoon, on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Sanders was last in town in March, appearing at the Covelli Centre just one day before he lost the Ohio primary to Clinton.

Thursday, he put his support behind Clinton.

PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Senator Bernie Sanders started a cross-country campaign tour for his former rival Hillary Clinton Tuesday, deliberately steering clear of the cascading controversies engulfing the Democratic nominee for the White House in the final days of the election.

Amid the furor over the federal investigation into Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server and the continuing release of hacked e-mails from her campaign, Sanders urged voters to stay focused on the issues facing the country — including the battle for control of the Senate — and not the campaign scandals.


“I understand that a lot of people are discouraged by this campaign, and some people are going to sit it out. Don’t you be one of them,” he said. “The stakes are much too high. This is not a personality contest. You are not voting for the senior class president at the local high school.

Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders will rally in Raleigh on Thursday in an appearance at the former Walnut Creek Amphitheatre with singer Pharrell Williams.

The rally comes with just a handful of days before the Nov. 8 election. Sanders has been traveling across the country recently on behalf of Clinton, his former rival in the Democratic primary.

Once she has the ultimate power of the US presidency, she'll consolidate power so deeply, Clintons and their surrogates will be dynastic owners of the US.
