My date had to cancel because she had to transport some soil samples to the ANTSO lab in Sydney. I'm not going to put her in the evil category yet. But it may occur.

To be honest, he was a decent chappie....and did mutter the right things abt getting together again soon - but when I sent him a msg abt thanking him for a nice evening (being the polite guy I am) I did not get any reply.....

Devo were a geeky new wave band from the 80's, featuring Mark Mothersbaugh, who now does a TON of film and TV music. They were most well-known for the song 'Whip It (Whip it Good)', but the quote comes from their first album, Are We Not Men, We Are Devo, from a song called 'Jocko Homo'....what with all the whipping and jocks and...they must have had a very interesting backstage life. Laughing Here are the original lyrics:

They tell us that
We lost our tails
Evolving up
From little snails
I say it's all
Just wind in sails
Are we not men?
We are devo!
We're pinheads now
We are not whole
We're pinheads all
Jocko homo
Are we not men?
D-e-v-o
Monkey men all
In business suit
Teachers and critics
All dance the poot
Are we not men?
We are devo!
Are we not men?
D-e-v-o
God made man
But he used the monkey to do it
Apes in the plan
We're all here to prove it
I can walk like an ape
Talk like an ape
I can do what a monkey can do
God made man
But a monkey supplied the glue
We must repeat
O.k. let's go!

Soldats au homme!!! To the barricades!!

There is a army of evil wimmins, led by a bloodthirsty rabbit, targeting the peace-loving men of A2K!! Shall we surrender to this rabble? Never!
