@Lash,
I said exactly what I meant. I dont need a pseudo school teacher trying to translate my posts.
@Lash,
I very seldom am mistaken about acidic personalities and comments. You are queen of, i'm so much smarter than you I shouldent even be talking to a stupid jerk like you, comments.
@snood,
i have nothing pro to say about trump, i love to mock politicians, the problem with trump is, his campaign is already a "spinal tap" like mockumentary of the political process, there's really nowhere to go
@djjd62,
If Trump is "Spinal Tap" does that mean his hands are "Stonehenge"?
@DrewDad,
Can't find an image from John Oliver last night. The line about Trump and being all out of gloves in boys sizes was hilarious.
@DrewDad,
Testing....
Edit: Thread seems to work.
@DrewDad,
I stayed away as the thread seems to provoke certain posters...
@revelette2,
and that post isn't provoking?
seriously
@ehBeth,
It was both provoking and an explanation.
@revelette2,
i came here looking for provolone
So, ANyway,,,
I think Hillary Clinton deserves some credit for not taking the bait offered to her by media regularly during the year+ contest with Bernie. Seemed daily she was asked questions like "Do you think it's time for Bernie to stand aside (step down, quit, concede, face the inevitable, etc) and begin supporting you?" All I ever heard Hillary say was some version of "Bernie has earned the right to stay in this campaign as long as he decides to", and never once whined about having to withstand attacks from both Trump and Bernie. Although all politicians' actions are always understandably scrutinized to find the personal gain motive, and I'm sure Hillary considered what she had to gain, I think this was one instance (there are others) where Hillary showed strength of character.
And in a general sense, that strength of character is something that I think has been underestimated. I think Hillary Clinton has had to fight some wars that she could not have survived on just the traits of vanity or hubris or ambition that are freely attributed to her. Time will surely tell if I'm right about that. The high stakes gamble all of us who support her are taking could be said to be defined by these questions: Will her humanity and desire to serve win out over her personal ambition and thirst for power and glory? Will her hard-won political experience and connections prove to be more of a gift to the country or an impediment? Will she rise up to the challenge clearly posed to her by Bernie's candidacy - face, and strive to accomplish the progressive goals that animated the passionate Bernie movement?
Well, first we have to crush the Orange Blight clearly threatening the whole world. But then... I am hoping for the best.
@revelette2,
...and she believes in aliens.
Most thinking people give credence to the possibility of life outside earth.
Bernie thinks he's Santa Claus.
