It's a pretty common way of referring to addiction. Let's see Lash - are you going to try to avoid the question entirely, or make up some weird lie about a new usage for 'monkey on your back" - or shock us all and tell the truth?

I mean, I really can't imagine too many democrats, independent democrats, or left leaning greens saying very many nice words about Reagan, it stood out as you say.
