I don't have to worry about what to do with an IOU from the state of IL.

@ehBeth,
The chance that s lottery vendor will win that $1 million is about as difficult as winning the lottery.

@cicerone imposter,
They didn't win it. It's their payment from the lotto corp for selling one of the winning tickets.

Their odds of getting a payment are better than the ticket buyers since there is a limited number of vendors vs an unlimited number of tickets. Even our little corner store lottery guy makes thousands a year on his payments from the lotto corp.

I don't think EdgarB's numbers are right, as I read them.
In any case, all of mine were higher re the sequence, all super wrong. $2.00 well spent for the fun.

Where's my most loser prize? or Mott the Loser..

@ossobuco,
His numbers are correct. the sequence is, if put in ascending order is:
4 8 19 27 34 BB 10

I played for the first time in years. Put in my $6 and quick-picked 3 numbers. Got only one number (two times).

This is what his post said, and why I brought it up, as someone might have thouht it it true, unlikely though that is.

The numbers
8 27 34 4 19 BB 10

A winner in California.

sooooooo one of the winners got her ticket from her boss (cool boss - bought 18,000 tickets for his employees)

what's the etiquette on that sort of thing? give the boss a gift?

@ehBeth,
I would definitely give him a thank you card.

My boss thinks I am lucky with lottery and scratch offs. But if she gives me money to buy her a card, she takes it home, unscratched, and never lets me know if it is a winner. That way no second thoughts or recriminations.

@Region Philbis,
I read that. It shows that big winners need to hide, at least for about six months or so.
