@Lash,
I just found the webpage. I'd post the link, but the moderators obviously don't want it to be posted (for whatever reason). The website is entitled "Center for Immigration Studies." At first glance, it seems to be innocuous. It doesn't sound nasty.

By the way, Lash, you and coldjoint share something in common: your opinion of Hillary Clinton. Razz (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)

@wmwcjr,
I'd recommend staying away from that website.

Some day this place may have a forum just for conspiracy theorists - they'd love it.

@wmwcjr,
That opinion is shared by a hell of a lot of people. I don't mind this guy being one.

If Hillary were truly the more electable, it stands to reason she would be getting more votes than she appears to be about to get.

That's a great idea, bethie.

They could have their own flag featuring, say, AK47s blowing holes in con trails. And a map would be cool with rivers and everything and the name arching across in upper case, bolded text - LESSER NIXONIA!
Also, a semi-sacred founding document - "The Protocols of the Welders", or some such.
And, of course, a Constitution. Easy enough to whip one up using quotes from Sarah Palin.

May I question your thesis? (Here in Canada, we always ask first).

@blatham,
You got to have people voting for you to be electable. Ask Jeb.

@edgarblythe,
I'll presume permission is granted.

You are talking about primary voters, yes? Hillary continues to poll above Sanders in most polls nationally, does she not? And then there's the considerations as to what right wing media will throw up (and into mainstream media) if Bernie were to become the sole target. As McCaskill said, they are just waiting to plaster a hammer and sickle onto every image of Sanders they publish. And that's just a starter move.

@wmwcjr,
Perhaps it has hidden malicious cookies on it when you click on the website. If so, I am comforted a little the moderators watch for that sort of thing. I have a malware program, but the more help the better, none of them work 100% and I am not smart enough to figure that stuff out on my own. Usually I just try to click on links from those I trust here on this forum not to deliberately leave malicious malware.

Carly Fiorina accused of ‘ambushing’ pre-school children for anti-abortion rally

Quote:
Carly Fiorina has been accused of “ambushing” a group of children, after she ushered pre-schoolers, who were on a field trip to a botanical garden, into an anti-abortion rally in Des Moines.

Related: Carly Fiorina’s use of anti-abortion video is ‘totally irresponsible’, experts say

On Wednesday, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive embarked on a day of campaigning across Iowa , in an attempt to boost her ailing presidential campaign.

The alleged ambush occurred when Fiorina hosted a “right to life” forum at the Greater Des Moines botanical garden. Entering the rally, before a crowd of about 60 people, she directed around 15 young children towards a makeshift stage.

The problem, one parent said, was that the children’s parents had not given Fiorina permission to have their children sit with her – in front of a huge banner bearing the image of an unborn foetus – while she talked about harvesting organs from aborted babies.

“The kids went there to see the plants,” said Chris Beck, the father of four-year-old Chatham, one of the children Fiorina appeared with. “She ambushed my son’s field trip.”

I predict that Sanders will get more primary votes than Obama eight years ago.

Posted this elsewhere but it should be here too.
Quote:
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A grand jury investigating Planned Parenthood has indicted two anti-abortion activists who covertly shot videos of the organization.

Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson announced Monday that Center for Medical Progress founder David Daleiden was indicted on a felony charge of tampering with a governmental record and a misdemeanor count of related to purchasing human organs. Another activist was also indicted on a charge of tampering with a governmental record.

A news release announcing the indictment doesn't say what the record was.

Anderson said the grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood of any wrongdoing.

The Center for Medical Progress is the anti-abortion group that released covertly shot videos of Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted fetuses for research.

No bet, as he very well may.

I stand by my prediction that his opponent in November will get 400 electoral votes, which is not incompatible with your prediction.

Edit -- I'll just add that if Clinton and Sanders were facing off in the general election instead of a primary, his surge in the polls wouldn't bother me at all.

@blatham,
I believe posting the same post multiple times is considered spam and you should probably stop doing that. Post it once where you think it will get it's due consideration.

If you read or hear something and, on thinking about it, find yourself being torn in two opposing directions, it might well be the case that you have just been handed a false-dilemma fallacy. Here's one...

My daughter sent me a manuscript for a novel she's completed and it is really ******* good. I'm quite knocked out.
