Bloody cold here too. Nee has complained that it's very hot in Udon Thani. When a Thai person complains about the heat, you can be sure it's damned HOT!!!

Still, come Monday, we won't be getting up in the dark anymore, Wilso. But after that, winter is just a hop, step & a jump away! Sad Udon Thani is starting to sound to me!

Oh, that's a drag, Wilso. Any chance of a little trip to sunny Thailand to break up your winter? Very Happy

Probably. The immigration forms are too complicated for her to do herself. So instead of paying for her to see solicitors etc, I'll probably take them and assist her myself. Aside from the fact that I miss her terribly.

I'll bet you do, Wilso. As for the immigration process, I hope it's not as daunting as a friend of mine experienced when she married a Vietnamese man. First, with the Oz immigration people in Vietnam, then after T (her husband) had been in Oz for a year & was applying for citizenship. An absolute mountain of information, forms & endorsements! Momma mia! Shocked

There is a mountain of forms. Application forms, health checks, character checks etc. Once I get her to Oz, I'll probably use a solicitor.

Not sure, J_B.

Thanks for asking.

Something to do with a rotten day at work, a cold that's lingering after about 10 days, generally feeling that life is a bit shitty & "treadmillish" & the onset of winter soon..... (I don't do winter at all well. Sad )

And you?

I hear you about the onset of winter, msolga. Sorry about the rotten day, the cold and the crud.

Fortunately, we are in early spring and have a forecast of sunny and warm. I'm feeling springlike.

Crabby.
I smoked my last cigarette on Friday and I'm not a happy camper right now. For health reasons (obviously) I do have to stop smoking but I cannot get over the NEED. I know all the tricks tips and whatnot. That's all fine and encouragement is great but I WANT A CIGARETTE! I am not a pleasant person at the best of times. Perhaps I should have installed myself on a desert island for two weeks while I tried to quit, so I wouldn't want to murder every stupid person around me who ask the dumbest questions. I want to throttle everybody! Oh well, time for lunch. I have to go to the bank .... hope I'm not tempted to rob it!

I hate winter and the weather in Jo'burg this summer has been less then perfect, lets just say it certainly didn't live up to the Sunny South Africa emblem, it's been downright miserable in Jozi since Christmas and now winters just about here too. F*&^T.

Other then that I'm great!
