It's now heading for 8 pm, Friday the 13th. I'm surprised & relieved that nothing really bad has happened yet. Things were not looking good earlier on!

but on the bright side, last night Mattafix's Big City Life was on the radio again, got me dancin on my seat ...

Another very pleasant day today: had lunch with my good friend, D, then we sat & enjoyed the sunshine in her backyard for the rest of the afternoon. But tomorrow I must work on the decking outside! Enough of all this procrastinating & having a good time! There's work to be done!

I wen to the dentist, my teeth are fine but i have a ridge of sticking out skin, from front to back, on the inside of my mouth which my teeth keep unavoidably biting and it hurts like hell!

Me today? Melting, melting, melting ...... It is very hot, with a nasty northerly wind, to boot! I'm dreading the thought of going out soon, for a haircut. I'm seriously considering having a casual dinner with my friends W & T tonight, on the Williamstown beach. The thought of cool sea breezes is very nice, indeed ...... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Not bad today, not too bad, at all! <No mean achievement, considering the heat. Momma mia! <pant, pant> )

Around midday I met & collected margo of Sydney & her friend, L, at Melbourne airport. Despite them being quite stunned by the heat, we had a very pleasant lunch & chat in Carlton, then we made it back to their (air conditioned - Aaaaaaaaaah! ) hotel in the city. Cold beer & more chat. Tonight they will be sweating it out at the tennis. Me, I'm home with the air conditioner! How very nice it is to get to know good people in these interesting ways! A2K is amazing!

Oh that's lovely, you have your own Melbourne Meeting going on! Quite honestly the Chicago thing is starting to look so huge it's no longer appealing. I think that, given the 11 hour air journey and huge expense, I'll wait till I come to Oz and then have a small meeting with Olgs and Margs!
