too late for that ocean you're hoping for

As trump had pointed out millions had been deported as near in time as the Truman and Eisenhower era.

An if even citizens proved untrustworthy they can be placed in camps.

Sadly it can be done and had been done in our past so do not be so sure if the situation get too bad it can not be handle.

@BillRM,
What Trump forget to tell (besides the fact that hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants would have had to self-deport) is that the campaign ("Operation Wetback") accompanied more legal immigration opportunities.

you'd better hustle and get Trump elected so there can be a wall between Canada and the US

I can't see why a wall would be necessary.

Simple landmines all along the (north side of the) border should be sufficient. It would cost more than the mines, but I guess you could bolster it up with drones flying the border 24/7 and gunning down anyone coming from the north. That might be a little better, all things considered.

@BillRM,
You really do think on a very basic level. If you brutalise and mistreat a bunch of people don't be surprised if a lot of them turn out fucked up.

@izzythepush,
An in some cases if you nice to them they will also end up planting bombs by children and killing and wounding hundreds of innocent people.

See the bombers in Boston and the bombers in London and now Paris.

@Walter Hinteler,
Never said it was a good idea and doing anything like that would and should be a very last resort but if it get so bad in the US that we will have to shut down our large cities for days at a times like Paris after having hundreds guns down or blown up we might be force to do so.

I wonder if Clinton and O'Malley are second guessing their dueling calls for 65,000 Syrian refugees.

@parados,
Well, it would be a bit too extreme to blame Obama for all of the Syrian refugees, but he certainly failed to mitigate the terrible situation.

If you want to give him a free pass, fine. Why am I not surprised.

We're supposed to worry about them becoming terrorists don't you know?

Canada is rejecting single male Syrian refugees in their program.

OMG! Not Canada too!

Why can't these right-wing troglodytes understand that reasonable caution is tantamount to racism.

Just ask izzy. If you only bring widows and their children into your filthy racist nation you will assure them becoming terrorists.

Another false dichotomy. Nice use of logical fallacies.

@parados,
You must have discovered "false dichotomy" a couple of days ago and now like a kid can't use it enough.

@BillRM,
Funny how it's only a problem when the terrorists were Islamists. You were quite happy to pay for the IRA to murder our children.

You can keep moaning about mosquitos while creating more swamps.

?????????????????????

I do not off hand remember donating any funds to the IRA.

Now with the many ways that over hundreds of years the British empire had mistreated Catholic not only in Ireland but in the whole of the UK why do you have a problem with those as you would say for ISS "young people with a sense of righteous outrage" killings the non-catholic English such as yourself?

@BillRM,
The difference is we made peace in NI. Your visceral hatred of the UK is well known. Don't try to pretend you didn't support terrorism, you certainly sympathise with the terrorists.

@Brand X,
That's not quite correct. Single males who are part of a larger family group have been accepted in Canada. The wording is something like "unattached adult male" - that is, they are not part of a family or are not joining a Syrian family already in Canada.

@izzythepush,
About the only terrorist sympathizer on this board is you Izzy. You seem to have all the excuses down pat for these guys and you don't use a negative word against them. You'll notice you didn't deny being an ISIS supporter, instead you tried to make it seem like Bill is the supporter. Bill speaks out against terrorists, you defend and support them with excuses.
