Vals made the interview in French. (I had thought you did understand - due to your vast knowledge of Germany and German people.)

I didn't post a single one - it's all ok with your eyes! (You used google before, didn't you?)

Given that your claim is not sourced, and that even at this hour google gives me no evidence that anyone beside you is making the argument of a mistranslation I have to assume that you are attempting to poke fun at Trump, with the lefts version of him as a guy who boldly stands and denies reality. You are trying to play the fantasy version of Trump.

Are you that hard up for entertainment? You should take the "migrant" problem more seriously as it very well may be the straw that ends the EU, and you should take Trump more seriously too, as there is a decent chance that he is Americas next President.

The earliest I could find about the orinal sentences, is 17 hours old, by Canadian papers.
German papers had it later (spiegel is 15 hours, dw 12 hours)

Lord that clown as president.........Thank god he had gone out of his way to insult every group but the far far right Republicans who are the majority voters in the republican primaries but only a small percents of the total voters in the general election.

Still can remember him jumping on the birther movement.

@Walter Hinteler,
The correction has been online since late last night - and on our news since overnight.

@ehBeth,
The press office of Valls published the statement yesterday in the late evening (it had been online @ Süddeutsche since yesterday late afternoon).

@Walter Hinteler,
Not surprisingly, I am confused.

When I did a translation search on bing of the quote you left in your previous post, it said, "Europe must say that it can no longer accommodate as many migrants, this is not possible.".

Is this the corrected translated quote from Volls, or is this the quote which was translated wrong? If it is wrong, what is the right quote. Is the following the right news story or is it still a wrong translation?

France warns on refugee numbers

Hawkeye quoted an English translation from the German translation:
'We cannot accomodate any more refugees in Europe, that's not possible'. (Original German version: "Wir können nicht noch mehr Flüchtlinge in Europa aufnehmen - das ist nicht möglich." )

"L'Europe doit dire qu'elle ne peut plus accueillir autant de migrants, ce n'est pas possible", however, translates to "Europa muss sagen, dass es nicht mehr so viele Migranten aufnehmen kann, das ist nicht möglich."
And that's what your above translation says in English.

@ehBeth,
It's been on my reading list for years now but my list is quite long and I don't look at it often. I should scoot it up a little higher in my News Bookmarks.

@RABEL222,
Well, we're different. Doesn't mean I don't like you, we often agree and even if not, I'll listen. You usually hear from me the few times I disagree.

Lemme go count the news sites I have at hand to read...

ok, that's 98, and I could add more but that's busy enough. You could guess I don't have a tv, which saves a lot of aggravation.

So we do not need to worry about women/females teens?

Quote:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2015/11/25/why-palestinians-attacking-israelis-include-teen-girls/76331152/

JERUSALEM — Dressed in skirts over their jeans and scarves on their heads, two teenage Palestinian girls from northern Jerusalem headed to downtown Jerusalem on Monday, took out scissors and stabbed a 70-year-old Palestinian man they had mistaken for an Israeli Jew. An Israeli security guard fatally shot Hadeel Awaad, 16, and a policeman shot and wounded her cousin, Norham Awwad, 14.

The attack is among more than a dozen carried out by female Palestinians in the past two months, as violence directed against Israelis has escalated. That amounts to roughly one in seven assaults by female assailants, including girls under 18, a statistic that is both a source of concern and respect within the Palestinian community.

Well, OK, then!

Hackers affiliated with online activist group Anonymous have taken down an Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) website on the dark web and replaced it with ads for anti-depressant Prozac and erectile dysfunction treatment drug Viagra, with a message urging extremists to calm down.

Anonymous has launched a campaign against IS-associated sites which has seen hundreds of extremist sites taken down in the last few weeks.

Fearing its members may be exposed and prosecuted, IS has retreated to the dark web, a part of the internet that is inaccessible through traditional search engines or social media, but can be accessed through the Tor browser

@layman,
Whatever....they are already jacked up on Captagon which is incredibly addictive. They aren't going to drop it for Viagra and Prozac.

It's a nice thought I suppose.

Austrian ISIS 'poster girl' reportedly beaten to death after trying to escape Syria

One of two Austrian teenagers dubbed "poster girls" for ISIS was beaten to death after she was caught trying to escape the terror group's de facto capital in Syria, according to published reports

At the time of their disappearance, they left a note for their families saying "Don’t look for us. We will serve Allah and we will die for him."

In October, it was reported that both girls had grown weary of ISIS' strict enforcement of Islamic law and had written to their families saying that they wanted to return home.

Kesinovic and Selimovic have now both been reported killed since they left their home city of Vienna to join ISIS in April 2014. The Osterreich tabloid reported that Selimovic was killed in December of last year.

Well, I guess they got their wish, eh? They was pretty little things, too. Maybe them hackers can help save some of these types.

@ossobuco,
I am embarrassed to admit in our house we have four w/satellite, I rarely watch any of them but I keep them on when I look up from the computer, usually unless someone else is in the room it is turned on mute with closed captioned on, mostly turned on the channel ID or food network.
