Saddle up! Lock and Load; Rock N' Roll. Who will be first on the ground? The Colorado continguent is expected in the early p.m., can the Nor'Easters beat them to Corazon? The race is on.

I know that there are a few of you who have kept silent, but will be here "God Willing and the River don't rise". I sure do hope that you will be able to make it, even if it is only for a short while. If your budget is just on the knife-edge of making your attendance possible ... send me a personal message and let me see if I might not be of some small help.

At present we have arrangments for those who have declared themselves. I expect at least nine, including Bumblebee, Natalie and myself. BTW, Bumblebee's contribution to this event is so great that she is at the very least the co-host. With her help, I think we have lunch for the 23rd covered. Thank you Aunt Bea.

Have the best time ever y'all I will be missing so much I know that for sure. If there was a any way for me to be there I would be there but alas it was not my fate I guess.

Maybe once time in the future I will actually be able to make a commitment to attend a gathering and actually get there.

This is going to be a happy weekend for all of you and really sad for me Do not worry about me though I have stocked up on chocolate and ice cream and will be helping my cousin paint his house.

The Western Gathering has gathered
Good morning Mr. and Ms. America, and all the ships at sea.

Everyone except Roger arrived yesterday evening. He will be driving to ABQ this morning. A2Knowers arrived from Canada, Colorado, and Mexico City.

We had a great dinner last night followed by strawberries and drinks at Corazon. And, I'm happy to report, no one fell into the swimming pool.

I left at midnight to release my 5-month old Bichon puppy Madison from the laundry room (he still has uncouth manners) so I don't know how late everyone stayed up chatting.

No fights or arguments yet, but then Roger won't arrive until this morning. I'll report on any brawls that occur upon Roger's arrival. :wink:
