Very well.

And so, if one can't give a definitive answer in regard to something as basic as the color of that dress, it's pointless to expect a definitive asnwer to a question like "are there gods in the Reality?"

God is like the color of that dress.

So, what is it?

No. You seem to be saying that the dress has a definitive color. I'm saying that its color is entirely a matter of perception, and God is like the color of that dress.

The existence or non-existence of gods IS NOT like the color of that dress, Blue.

Either gods exist...or they do not exist.

When you talk about the color of that dress...you are talking about perceptions of the color...not the color. The color is whatever it is...and if that particular color is perceived differently by different people...that is what the color is.

Do gods exist, Blue?

I do not know...and have said that several times.

But whatever it is...that IS what it IS.

The fact that I cannot know what it is...does not change that.

Either there is at least one god...or there are no gods.

If you cannot understand that...this conversation is not going very far.

So tell me...is there at least one god?

According to what we've established by the example of the color of that dress, they do for some people.

They either exist...or do not exist, Blue.

Do gods exist?

(HINT: You do not know if gods exist or not.)

No you didn't. Unless I missed it, what you said is, "The color is whatever it is...and if that particular color is perceived differently by different people...that is what the color is."

So, according to what you've written the color of that dress is simultaneously the way you preceive it and the way other different people perceive it. That's the way it is.

Are you just kidding around here, Blue...or have you fallen off the edge.

Whatever it IS..it IS.

The fact that different people see the dress differently from the way others see it...does not mean that it is not what it IS.

Back to the question of gods: Either at least one god exists...or no gods exist.

Which is it, Blue?

ANOTHER HINT: You do not know which it is.

What "not by my perception?"

ASIDE: Jeez...it is really difficult for you to use the words, "I do not know" isn't it, Blue!

@glitterbag,
One of the good things about confusion is...you can take your choice. One's every bit as good as the other.

I'm getting to know a lot more about confusion these days...

...I think.

If a drunk falls in the Forum, and there's no one around to cheer him . . . Frank will still be a simple minded fool. I would remind participants here that this is the atheists only thread, and the Pizza Man is no atheist. Please stop feeding the troll.
