@Leadfoot,
You tried to cherry pick the KJV over better translations. If I notice more, I'll let you know. You're right that I don't read much of what you post anymore. Too many disingenuous ad hoc rationalizations. From what I recall of our exchanges to date, you start with your preferred conclusion - your god - then work backwards to try to make it work. I'd rather start with evidence and see what it points to. I don't see anything pointing to an invisible friend in the sky except old goat herders' stories and people who somehow still believe them.

@Frank Apisa,
You cannot punish anyone and you cannot teach anything anyone.

All you can do is utter some crap and then pretend that you are "blooding" people.

Repeating your crappy mantra for years will not change the basics, which are that you don't know what is going on on other people's minds.

You have never understood an atheist, or, if you have, it was someone that doesn't really know what an atheist is..

Yeah, you are back for more beating.

Hey...I understand. Some people get their kicks in weird ways.

Maybe that is why you look so glum in your avatar. Can't find someone to stick a hot poker up your butt...or whatever it is that gets you off...right?

Anyway...I'll play with you for a while...and try to take it easy. But you do beg for a beating.

You are the Chuck Wepner of A2K:

You'll never change.

If there was a Nobel prize for stupidity, you'd win it without contest..

If I ever claim to know for a certainty that there's no god, the burden of proof will be on me. I'm saying that you don't have any evidence to support your claim to know for a certainty that there is one. You make the claim, the burden of proof is on you. Without it, it just looks like you're gullible enough to believe a book of Bronze Age myths. Without it, it looks like you're willing to indulge in a fantasy about an invisible friend in the sky and eternal bliss in the hereafter. Until you come up with some evidence, those explanations are more probable than an undetectable, magical, supernatural sky wizard that runs everything while hiding from us.

*DING!* I'm sorry, but your five minutes are up. If you want to continue arguing, you'll have to pay for another five minutes.

As an admirer of theologians, would you be kind enough to recommend your favorite? I'm partial to Calvin & Hobbs. I would have guessed maybe Samual Clemens for you but he's more of a preacher.
