@Finn dAbuzz,

It would be laughable except they have embedded links, it is the dates in the quotes at the source.
It wasn't spontaneous, but the video was linked to the attacks. In fact I clicked on the link, it no longer works.
However, I did copy and paste the web address. Couldn't really find it. But in the end, I found the entire Benghazi report from the senate committee in which that paragraph was taken from. After reading it and not really grasping all the technical abbreviations, I did find the paragraph, it was copied straight from the senate report.
I had to open a file, not sure you want to go through that trouble. It is a pdf file.
pdfU.S. SENATE SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE REVIEW of the TERRORIST ATTACKS ON U.S. FACILITIES IN BENGHAZI, LIBYA, SEPTEMBER 11–12, 2012 (not a link)
On page 45, and 46 (the whole report is like someone looking for a problem)it reluctantly talks about the protest which were held in Cairo being linked to those who attacked Libya. Not directly, but somehow inspired by the video in part. It also talks about how that first talking point in which Susan Rice talked came from early wrong intelligence reports. A lot of redacting but some information which does make myths of right wing smears,
