I see that Daryl Issa now wants to shut down the government because the head of the FBI and the JD and the Obama adminstration are corrupt and also, IMPERIAL PRESIDENCY! (that's the charge that Obama has managed what Cheney and Addington actually believed and tried - the damned foreign-born bastard - and also that of course Hillary will surely be even worse - the murderous bitch).

There are a lot of sleazy people kicking around but Issa is a top drawer example of the thing.

@blatham,
Issa is the worst. I'm surprised he hasn't chocked on his own bile.

@woiyo,
Do you want me to disagree with the FBI conclusions or your made up version of the FBI conclusions?

FBI conclusion - There is not enough evidence to bring any charges.
FBI conclusion - Clinton AND others were careless - He didn't break out who did what when it came to sending info that later was classified by OTHER agencies. Based on what has been said in the press up to this point it was mainly others that sent those emails.

@glitterbag,
You can say that again! He's wishy-washy to boot. He wants to shut down the government - based on his opinion. The guy is nuts!

When we have reps like Issa in government, why not add Donald Trump? Our government has been broken for so long, people don't realize how bad off we are! Children playing with our countries future.
Gridlock anyone?

@woiyo,
Quote:
THE FACTS: Clinton has separately clung to her rationale that there were no classification markings on her emails that would have warned her and others not to transmit the sensitive material. But the private system did, in fact, handle emails that bore markings indicating they contained classified information, Comey said.

When did Comey say that?

@engineer,

When Colin Powell did it, no one batted an eye. (I notice the FBI is not opening an investigation into his server.) When everyone got Clinton's emails from her own server, again, no one said anything. There were thousands of people who "should have known better" but apparently no one did.

I think I've heard this position before, and I'm still not impressed. I speculate that most of the recipients were state department employees and things haven't always gone well for whistleblowers. So long as the emails didn't clearly threaten national security, I just can't see any of them running to some inspector general with the news that the boss isn't using an approved server. Maybe they should have, but we don't have any excuse for shifting her blame way down the chain of command.

I'm pretty sure that if Colin Powell had run for president, he would have gotten the same scrutiny.

If the American people ever ask the government how much tax payer money is wasted on these shutdowns, a lot of Republicans would be out of office. I'm sure not every single one voted or a shutdown, but I'm just shocked that they diddle around with NPR and think nothing of the money they spend trying to blackmail the rest of Congress.

@glitterbag,
I've come up with some that were so far off that they were flagged by spell checker and no suggestions were offered.

@roger,
I have to constantly remind myself to reread whatever I write before I hit send. Sometimes when I see things that spell corrected that didn't need to be corrected I wince. If you get a chance, goggle spell check mistakes, it's a scream......I'm just not sure if all of them actually were sent. I have an old fried who was trying to text me one night and he kept making mistakes because he had just bought his first IPhone and his fingers were hitting the wrong keys. After about 7 strange texts the 8th came in with similar mistakes and a frustrated '****' that was spelled correctly. I wish I had saved his texts, they were funny.

I would be like most Americans, if I wasn't interested.

Appreciative is the emotion you're feeling, but I doubt that you'd recognise the emotion.

I contemplated your wise council, thought about it and then remembered that I don't care what you think about anything. I'm sure your mother thinks your very clever.
