@Olivier5,
Why don't you try scrolling back a few pages before commenting on things you know nothing about?

@maporsche,
She did not complain. She just stated the rules of the game, and then you crybabies started to whine.

The primary system is broken. The other alternative in a two party system is to sit back and accept other people's choices. Super delegates were added to prevent another Jimmy Carter sneaking past the DNC's annointed candidate.

I'd be fine with getting rid of superdelegates, but they need to stop those anti-democratic caucuses too.

Thanks for reminding us that Bernie is only human. Seeing how he seems to win against all odds, I was under the impression he was the son of Athena and Yahweh or something.

He doesn't have to ve, to win these caucuses. Talk to me after he wins a primary, overwhelminly, in a genuinely diverse state. Which is, by the way what he has to do - more than once - to win.

How about New York? What that qualify as a genuinely diverse state?

@maporsche,
Sorry but I'm not going to shut up. This is way too funny. You guys are running around like headless chicken, in constant search of invented problems, nitpicking and bitching about everything and its opposite. Lighten up, will you?

Of course. You think he's going to win NY, and decisively?

@Lash,
They make me think of the soddin' tea baggers: always on the look-out for fake problems as a way to make sure they don't lose one heartbeat thinking about REAL PROBLEMS. Such as: corruption in US politics - now that's a real problem; let's hear what the Clintonistas have to say about that. Or about Panama. Or about banking de-regulation and how it's linked to the global financial crisis. There's no dearth of pressing and REAL concerns. But they'd rather invent some fake complain of yours, so they can complain about it...

Oh well. Headless chicken will run in circle.

Oh. So you ARE a big fan of the closed primary system in New York??

My apologies, I was confused at the "ugh" you posted, which implied that you didn't like it. Silly me.

Only registered Ds can vote for Bernie in NY. Hope everyone was able to switch in time for the election. Ugh.

Indies are his biggest demo.

The above is the entire quote of Lash's quote which she first said, Ugh in response to hoping Indies ( Rolling Eyes ) were able to switch their votes in time. Then she said, the rule will thwart Come To Jesus moments. That is decrying the rule.

Oliver calls it nickpicking when I am merely defending my use (I actually borrowed it from Set) of the word and explaining the parts where she is decrying the rules of which seems to feel Jesus has a personal interest in.

@maporsche,
This is an instructive lesson about the mindless false dichotomy establishment Democrats have bought into.

Please try to focus: one doesn't have to be a fan of something or "decry" it.

I accept the closed primary as a fact, while knowing in this case, it's not in my candidate's best interest.

Understand?

Definition of Decry

to denounce as damaging or bad

Use Decry in a sentence

The liberal news media is constantly trying to decry the efforts of the country’s conservative president.

After the immigration bill was passed, the racist groups started to decry the features of the act.

What kind of person will decry the death of a dog yet laugh at the death of a human?

When a child recently died in an abusive foster home, people marched in protest to decry the state’s foster care system.

People who prefer physical newspapers decry the high-tech advances that have put many traditional newspaper publishers out of business.

In the movie, the minister took every opportunity to decry dancing and loud music and eventually both activities were banned in the town.

Several religious organizations have chosen to decry the obscene cartoon about Jesus.

On the crime show, the arrogant chef killed the food critic before he could decry his new restaurant.

Eve is an animal rights activist who constantly uses the media to decry the cold-heartedness of Kill shelters.

As a homosexual, I have a huge issue with anyone who chooses to decry my sexual preference as sinful.

Lash decried the rules of the closed primary because it will be damaging to her candidate, going so far as to say it will thwart "Coming To Jesus Moments."
