@Blickers,
When the Democrats put a puppet like Sanders on stage with the "anointed one", can anyone take their party seriously? I agree that Trump steamrolled the establishment Republican so far since that party also put up lightweights who got rolled by a tout.

Clinton is the typical establishment candidate bought for and paid for by the elites and special interests.

She is not a better choice than Trump, just the "other choice".

@cicerone imposter,
So you believe that the US under Clinton and under Trump would be the same?

@cicerone imposter,
Beg to differ. I say in every possible way that matters, Hillary is superior to Trump as a prospective president. But, that may not be saying much because there aren't many I'd consider worse than Trump.

Yeah, I don't think CI has thought that one through.

Sanders isn't anyone's "puppet". That's just a shallow smear with no thought behind it.

Who are these "elites" that some people keep talking about? Can all of them do 100 pushups, run a mile in under 5 minutes and read a book a day? What are the qualifications?

Conservatives remain loath to acknowledge the obvious, but the liberal critique of their politics is correct, and it took the Donald Trump juggernaut to wake them up to it. Indeed, the fact that liberals had a more accurate read on conservative politics than most professional conservatives seems to bother many conservatives more than the substance of the critique itself.

“It would be terrible to think that the left was right about the right all these years,” Bret Stephens wrote on Monday at the Wall Street Journal. “Nativist bigotries must not be allowed to become the animating spirit of the Republican Party. If Donald Trump becomes the candidate, he will not win the presidency, but he will help vindicate the left’s ugly indictment.”

@blatham,
amen to that! Donald has shown his true colors as a racial bigot, and it's a wonder that so many still prefer him as our president.

Racist because we don't like Obama, Sexist if we don't like Hillary, racist if we want actual border security, bigoted if we support Trump, what else can we add... It's easy to call your opponents names and villianize as some kind of boogey man.

What will you guys do when Trump wins the election? Have you been paying attention to the voter turn outs during the primaries? There are a LOT of Democrats that do not want Hillary as a President. They will likely stay home election day. The numbers so far support a Trump Presidency and I am pretty sure Trump will do quite well v Hillary in any debates they have. Trump doesn't have many dark corners with skeletons in them. Hillary has depths beyond depths and Trump will have no gumption about calling her on them all.

@McGentrix,
Just slide on over to National Review or to the Weekly Standard and count up the number of conservatives who admit that Trump is a bigot who is pumping up the existing bigotry of his supporters. Read Krauthammer. Read Gerson. Read Parker. Read Rubin. Read Eric Erickson.

If you want to, just ignore everyone other than right wing media. But at the very least, have the frigging integrity to recognize that this indictment of Trump as bigot and as a promoter of bigotry has a very large voice on the right.

That's just silly. Trump has spent his entire life in New York City real estate. Honesty is not an option.

I'm going to take a wild stab and say McGentrix meant to say, "Trump will have the gumption to have no qualms about calling her on them all". Then somewhere between the brain and the keyboard, something happened. Very Happy

@Lash,
The Clintons don't sell out the US. The Clintons do things like create 16 Million Full Time jobs and a high rate of GDP growth. The Clintons gave America a high degree of international respect. For example, when Bill Clinton visited the UK, there was a big escort into London with cheering Britons lining the streets. When Bush went to the UK, they whisked him from the airport to where he had his meeting by helicopter to avoid angry crowds. This is the sort of Clinton leadership I look forward to, if Hillary wins the nomination and the election.
