@engineer,
In the end, I'll probably do it, it is just the first time I can remember not liking or more importantlytrusting who I am voting for. Sucks. I don't think Sanders would have a chance in the general so I won't vote for him either, he is not a good debater as we found out in the last debate.

@revelette2,
I know what you mean. I definitely don't want to, but I definitely will AND I definitely will be encouraging everybody else to, also.

Until that happens, I think Bernie can get elected.

Hillary Clinton’s Mega-Donors Are Also Funding Jeb Bush

Still, in the event of another economic meltdown, there is at least some chance that Clinton will discover an inner FDR (Or better yet, Eleanor) than Bush or any Republican. Thankfully, Bush isn't doing well--a Clinton/Bush GE would really suppress voter turnout among young voters.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/08/04/hillary-clinton-s-mega-donors-are-also-funding-jeb-bush.html

More than 60 ultra-rich Americans have contributed to both Jeb Bush’s and Hillary Clinton’s federal campaigns, according to an analysis of Federal Election Commission data by Vocativ and The Daily Beast. Seventeen of those contributors have gone one step further and opened their wallets to fund both Bush’s and Clinton’s 2016 ambitions.

After all, why support just Hillary Clinton or just Jeb Bush when you can hedge your bets and donate to both? This seems to be the thinking of a group of powerful men and women—racetrack owners, bankers, media barons, chicken magnates, hedge funders (and their spouses). Some of them have net worths that can eclipse the GDPs of small countries.

Larry Noble, senior counsel for the Campaign Legal Center, told The Daily Beast that it’s a common practice among a small number of people.“Some of them will say they believe in the process, but the truth is you usually see them giving to people who will be most helpful to them if gets into office,” he said. “They are not necessarily Republicans or Democrats, they are business people first.”

Some of them said personal connections are driving the double donations. Many work in industries that depend on the federal government for their continued operation. A few have had brushes with the law. One donor said he’s soured on Hillary, and is now on Team Jeb. Another claimed that he gave to Clinton by mistake.

John Tyson, chairman of Tyson Foods, is a long-time—and promiscuous—political player. This year alone, his company spent half a million dollars lobbying Congress on everything from immigration reform and fuel taxes to food safety regulations. He himself has given $25,000 each to the political action committees supporting Clinton’s and Bush’s 2016 candidacies, according to the data parsed by Vocativ.

Sanders campaign: We'll consider Hillary for veep
Source: Politico

By DANIEL STRAUSS

Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign once again cranked up its rhetoric toward former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by saying she could very well be on Vermont senator's shortlist for vice president once he clinched the Democratic nomination.

In an interview with Bloomberg Politics' John Heilemann, Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver was asked if he thought the Democratic front-runner was a "craven hypocrite" for moving to the left on a number of issues like the Keystone pipeline and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, effectively bringing her closer to the liberal Sanders on the political spectrum.

"A craven hypocrite?" Weaver responded with a grin described in the story as "sly." "That's a little bit harsh, don't you think?"

Weaver then added, "We're willing to give her more credit than Obama did. We're willing to consider her for vice president. We'll give her serious consideration. We'll even interview her."

That can be read two ways...both of which show you to be ranting rather than thinking, Hawk.

Get under control. Don't let Hillary decide how you are going to act.

I am very in control frank, but thanks for the concern. I was always going to not vote clinton, I am a clinton hater from way back. I am making intellectual observations , not acting, and I am not acting about what I believe either for that matter and never have given any such indication yet I still get people thinking that I am. I think it is because a lot of members here live very sheltered lives.

If I can clear anything else up for you feel free to contact me.

No problem, Hawk.

But I was not trying to get you to clear things up for me...I was trying to get you to clear them up for you.

Apparently I didn't succeed.

I would like A2K to get better.

Kindly do your part.

@hawkeye10,
Hillary Clinton my second choice since Biden finally kiboshed it. There are all sorts of negative personal things I think about her. Fortunately she left a detailed and mostly public record.

But one of the few things you can't call her is an "incompetent politician". She's done well in every office she's taken whether you agree with her or not. She's got about eight positions I disagree with, none of which by themselves make me vote against her but together are too much. Unless you compare her to any of the GOP clown car.

@hawkeye10,
The only one cloistered seems to be you hawk.
This is what Clinton actually said. Compare it to your pessimistic BS.

Quote:
Clinton said. "If you're looking for someone to say what is wrong with America, I'm not your candidate. I think there is more right than wrong."

She added: "I don't think we have to make America great. I think we have to make America greater."

America is doing quite well by many measures.

Unemployment is very low.
More people have health insurance.
The Stock market is near an all time high. (Gold isn't where certain nay sayers predicted.)
Inflation is low.
Interest rates are low for borrowing.
Tax rates are near historic lows.

This is a very important point. Clinton has a voting record. That voting record is more conservative than Sanders, but more liberal than the President and much more liberal than Biden. (If Biden had actually entered the race, his voting record would not get the love that it got while he was a hypothetical.) It does feel like Clinton is triangulating to positions, but she has a record where you can see how she votes when virtually no one is looking.
