This GOP congressman already wants to impeach Hillary Clinton.

Is he hanging out with Shelia Jackson Lee(D)? Surely the dumbest member of Congress
Quote:

While speaking from the House floor on March 12, 2014, Jackson Lee suggested that the U.S. Constitution (which was adopted in 1787) had been written in the early 1600s: “Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not.”

Over the course of her political career, Jackson Lee has earned a reputation for having both an entitlement mentality and a highly volcanic temper. According to the Daily Caller, the congresswoman's toxic personality has caused her to have "one of the highest staff turnover rates in Washington." Between 2001 and 2011, for instance, at least 39 of her staffers quit their jobs less than a year after they had been hired. To view a host of examples of incidents where Jackson Lee has egregiously mistreated her staffers and others, click here.

You said the GOP was thinking. Shelia has a problem with that. Who else would you like to smear today.

@coldjoint,
Hey dipwit - this is a thread about the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. If you have a problem with who I'm "smearing", at least try to keep your doofus commentary in the vicinity of on topic.

I wish we knew what it was about the Hillary performance in the debate that did so poorly. My first guess is that the #1 problem was when she was asked how she would be different than Obama her first response was a variation of "I have a ****". Neither men nor women want to hear that, they dont want to think that they are placing an affirmative action vote. And then there was that stupid ass answer on the gun issue the other day......

Hillary's tinny political ear continues to amaze. I am becoming convinced that she honestly does not know where the little people are, that her cocoon has disqualified her from the race. This is what happens when you surround yourself with people who cant talk honestly with you.

My posts in different threads sound on the surface contradictory so let me clarify: My argument is that Hillary at the debate was exactly like the comedian who gives so so material one of the best performances of her life. And that it did not work because the material matters. Furthermore if Biden comes in it will because he now has the data that the material was not very good, where as before today his judgment that Hillary is not very good would have been gut instinct.

Boo. Premature ecstati-cation. The article was a tad misleading. Says Joe is coming in - in 48 hours.

That's a lot of build up. I hope the climax is worth it.

I cannot stop emphasizing: Hillary Clinton's only electoral victories were in one of the most Democratic states in the country and against nobodies. She defeated an incompetent Republican backbencher, Rick Lazio, in 2000. In 2006, the New York State Republican Party sent John Spencer, mayor of Yonkers, to be its sacrificial lamb. Clinton spent $36 million defeating Spencer in an election with a 23 percent voter turnout. Spencer had raised just over $5 million, and was given to describing people as having a "Chinaman's chance." Not exactly a model for defeating the GOP this time — unless Donald Trump is her opponent, he suddenly goes dead broke, and his name recognition drops by roughly 97 percent. (The "Chinaman's chance" thing, I can imagine him saying.)

Clinton was beat when Barack Obama slyly made ethics and conviction the themes of his campaign. Sanders foreswore the possibility of talking about her email server, and he seems not at all interested in contrasting his constancy of conviction with her history of expedient changes of heart.

And even in that debate, one can imagine the attack lines.

Clinton asked the audience to consider what she's "accomplished in the Senate, as secretary of of state, and then draw your own conclusion." A Republican might actually point out that when she asks us to fill in the blanks, it's because that record is mostly blank. Or bad. In the debate she referred to the U.S. intervention in Libya as "smart power at its best." Surely Jeb Bush could point out that Libya is now plagued by the Islamic State, and anarchy reigns there to such a degree that it is now one of the major veins through which a refugee crisis flows into Europe. Clinton called for "a new New Deal for communities of color," which sounds almost exactly like the kind of phrase you might use in the 1950s. Rubio, who says that he is the candidate of tomorrow, will not let her get away with hawking 80-year old policy ideas.

Clinton has never beaten a first-class opponent. And nothing in her recent campaign should cause us to forget it.

Almost an exact copy of an argument that I have been making for awhile now...

Benghazi panel outs CIA source, then tries to cover its tracks
Source: Yahoo Politics

The Republican-led House Select Committee on Benghazi hastily deleted the name of a high-level Libyan defector from one of its public releases on Monday, shortly after Yahoo News reported the panel had inadvertently revealed the defector’s name in an effort to embarrass Hillary Clinton.

The disclosure, followed by the quick wiping out of the name of ex-Libyan foreign minister Moussa Koussa (who had defected and become a source for the CIA on Libya), once again put the panel on the defensive on the eve of Thursday’s slated testimony from Clinton.

The incident was especially awkward for GOP chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy because just two weeks ago he had sought to make an issue over Clinton’s handling of an email that contained Koussa’s name............

@bobsal u1553115,
Is that anything like the Obama admin "outing" the CIA Station Chief in Afghanistan?

@Baldimo,
The Republicans on the Select Committee on Benghazi outed the CIA source deliberately for political expediency; Obama's outing was inadvertent.

You know that victim culture is bad when Cabinet Secretaries try to paint themselves as victims because they have to give accounts of their actions to Congress...

That America people are alarmingly stupid.
