Did something happen to the "atheism" thread?

I can't seem to find it anywhere--on my "new posts" screen, in the "atheist" forum, in "my posts," or anywhere else.

Maybe I've gone nuts and/or lost my eyesight, I aint sure. Anyone else have this problem?

Plus, more ominous, the google search thingy at the top leads to Topic Not Found if you click on the first item, Atheism, page 629.

Yeah, Jo, pretty sure I made one (or more) myself yesterday, as did others. When I couldn't otherwise find it, I figured the easiest way would be to just look in the "my posts" box. There aint none there either!

All I know for sure is that this is an absolute outrage and an insult to the memory of the OP (whose name I have forgotten)!

It's pretty easy to see who's behind it, too. Those damn ignorant-ass bible-thumpin Christian fundies, that's who! They control everything, I tellya!

I'm wondering what the **** happened to suddenly shut the thread down.

I get misbehavors can be shut off after great turpetude, but the whole thread?

Is there a new mod in action?

I am extremely unhappy about this shut off.

I'm not convinced that's what happened, Jo. I'm still awaiting a response from Farmer. If it is, then I want the credit, OK!?

I would imagine that if some mod, for whatever reason, decided that a thread was "going nowhere," it could just be "closed from further comment" without being completely erased.
