Kudos to Glitterbag:

Words.
So many of them that sound so cool. And mixed together, they could make a tasty meal.
So, I'll start with a word. Just add one to make a complementary dish. Then someone else can bring another.
Ad nauseum.
Oh, you can add extra words to make a sentence,
just like condiments.

So here's my dish:
Ontology.

Enjoy!

Why do so many people, when using that Latin phrase in order to sound knowledgeable, fail utterly because they misspell 'nauseam'?

First of I would like to thank Neologist for turning my offhand remark into something fun. I hope everyone finds some enjoyment or a few chuckles when or if you join in.

I have a favor to ask, could those of us who can occasionally be jerks, try to avoid insulting the participants. We know who we are, let's just have some fun.

Generated by his faithful but bitter speechwriter Happy Pants Buchanan, a whirling dervish of spitting scorn.

@glitterbag,
No kidding?

Ben Stein was a speechifier for Nixon at some point around that timeframe, I recall.
