@cicerone imposter,
Yah, I've posted here about a car designer who lived downstairs from us and ran the freeways, the guy who designed the Vector.

I sold him my ******* stupid chevy van, that is, he took over the payments.

I hope he is alive and well, as this has been a long time ago.

@ossobuco,
Here is a Volkswagon Karmann for you, Osso.

For when it rains.

@Lordyaswas,
This one is the Merc model my better half has. Same colour as well.

Roof rattles a bit when in place, and slightly underpowered (200SLK - 1.8 ltr) for me, but she thinks it's perfect and no matter how hard I try to get her to change for something sensible, she will never part with it.
It's now about eight years old, I think, and it's name is Baby.

Stop laughing at the back.

I therefore drive a boring, sensible car that can accommodate a frequently wet dog.

@Lordyaswas,
That's why she won't change it - a wet dog does not fit in the back of that one...and you wouldn't want it in the front with you!

She's not altogether silly!

@glitterbag,
I had a vw bus that I had painted that color (approximately). Good at the time for carrying paintings, but nobody's dream car.

@tsarstepan,
Oh goodie, it should be ready for my 115th birthday!

I had made plans to save for a Ferrari, but this looks much better.

@jcboy,
Those cars would all look great with a car seat in the back. Alex Martin of course would want to ride in them.
