Daggumm right! This one old boy I knowed drove from Oklahoma City to Kansas City, Missouri on a single charge. Got rear ended a few times cuz he had to keep riding the brakes to keep from overcharging the battery, but it was okay. He didn't buy it for the looks.

@roger,
Used to be the MBZ sports car with flap doors. I like bigger cars in my old age.

@cicerone imposter,
Whatever kind of car it was, he got rid of it when he couldn't get a refund of the fuel taxes he didn't have to pay.

@BillW,
I think my dream car would be a '56 Studebaker Golden Hawk.

From wiki:
"Speed Age magazine of July 1956 tested the Golden Hawk against the Chrysler 300 B, Ford Thunderbird and Chevrolet Corvette, finding that the Golden Hawk could out-perform the others comfortably in both 0-60 mph acceleration and quarter mile times. The fastest 0-60 reported in magazine testing was 7.8 seconds, while top speeds were quoted as 125 mph (201 km/h) plus"

@Walter Hinteler,
I wouldn't consider that "car" even in my second childhood. Besides, that price is waaaaaaay beyond my pocketbook, and I "hate" small cars. Mr. Green 2 Cents Drunk Drunk Drunk Drunk

street-legal, 1200 hp ride: 2012 Hennessey Venom GT

It looks great, sounds sick, and that engine is a beast.

More powerful and weighs considerably less than the Veyron. Only 10 built every year, with $1 Million price tag.
Maybe someday if I'm lucky, I'll own one.

@Enzo,
Hope can turn into reality. I've always wanted a MBZ sports, and told my kids when they were young that I expected them to buy me one when they earned their first million bucks. Never happened, so I'm still happy with my 2006 Acura TL.

HOT! I really love the front end. I also liked it a few years ago when it was the front end of the Ferrari 599.
