Here we go again, all those pieces have received acclaim. The piece you mention was actually a parody of French humour, which is why it shot over your head. The French have a reputation for a lot of things, fine wine and good cheese for example, but not comedy. The most famous French comedian, Marcel Marceau, is a mime artist. That says it all.

Then educate me: What is Israel up to, what is the end game that they expect to get? If they are going to get a negotiated deal who are they going to negotiate with after decades inflaming the Palestinian people through abuse and weakening Palestinian leaders and groups to the point that they are not capable of negotiating for the Palestinian people????

I mean seriously, I dont get it....when you treat people like animals you get animals most of the time, and people who feel like they have nothing to lose will do most anything evil out of spite if nothing else. How does this turn into a win for Israel in their minds?

There are times I think this actually is the "plan."

Some plan, though...because it will mean ridding the entire middle east of all it Arabs. There is no place to stop short of that.

Israel is not abusing the Palestinian people.

As for negotiations, they are at an end now. There are no plans for more negotiations.

The only thing Israel is doing to the Palestinians is imposing security measures to prevent the Palestinians from murdering innocent people.

I doubt there is any Israeli master plan. However, things are shaping up to work out well for them.

Europe is going to recognize and create a Palestinian state, but since negotiations are at an end, that Palestinian state will be composed only of what land the Palestinians already possess. That will leave Israel with much more land than they would have ended up with had the Palestinians been willing to negotiate for 1967 borders.
