@Walter Hinteler,
I have never heard of this company, but I am sure others have. It was a little dishonest in them, actually, it was just plain dishonest as opposed to a little dishonest.

@RABEL222,
Guess there truly is nothing left to say, I keep waiting for a column from either Bill or Walter. Maybe someday Snowden will have a baby with his girl friend. Wonder what citizenship the baby will have?

The mother is US-American (I think). So the baby would get the US-nationality (Section 301(g) of the INA) and the Russian (Article 12[1d] of the Russian Citizenship Law).

Why would you need to wonder about that as a child with a US mother and in most cases a US father for that matter is indeed a US citizen and he or she would likely have claims on Russian citizenship also.

@BillRM,
Yes, babies are born in other countries than their natural citizenship country. Why anyone would question a birth by and American woman and what citizenship the baby would have is beyond the pale.

@Walter Hinteler,
I knew you would have the answer. I just don't have the answer to things at the tip of my fingers. Have to look nearly everything up. Still it would be interesting, probably generate almost as much interest as the royal babies--in certain cirlces.

@revelette2,
Just a reminder: if someone lives in a foreign country and to her (them) a baby is born there, the (nationality) laws of that country apply (too).

@Walter Hinteler,
There are also countries where they allow dual citizenship even though you were not born there.

It does seem woman4Christ is being somewhat insincere.

"Exodus 34:14 Do not worship any other god, for the LORD ...
biblehub.com/exodus/34-14.htm

"(for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God), .... for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God."

@BillRM,
Maybe it's nonsense, but, it just seems to me, Snowden is more of topic among certain types than other types, the ones who regularly read Wired for instance verses people who might just watch reality tv, sports or whatever.

As far as where I dream this stuff up, same place anybody else I reckon. At least it's something to consider. I mean, he has got to wonder what he is going to do with the rest of his life if he stays there.

Why does any god have to be jealous?

Maybe He wants to be appreciated for all He created...I mean if you believe in that sort of thing.

@revelette2,
Snowden already understood the consequences of his actions. He knowingly sacrificed his own comfort for the American People - with some who really don't appreciate.

Well, you wrote,

Staying there is the only option open to him. What do you expect?
As I said, he sacrificed knowing something like this might happen.

You're quick to criticize Snowden. What have you sacrificed for this country?
