Reality is not your long suit. That's so abundantly apparent by how you never provide anything but Uncle Sam jism/propaganda that leaks from your mouth.

You're starting to catch on, Bill, but it's really really difficult to escape that lifetime of propaganda being insidiously dripped into your brains.

Look at how confused, how delusional so many of you are - MiT, CI, gbag, Oralboy, Farmerman, Finn, ... .

Look at how none of you can address the voluminous data bank that oh so clearly illustrates that the USA is nowhere near what the propaganda describes it as. All y'all can manage is lame shoot the messenger posts.

Typical of your USian total disregard for the sanctity of human life. Typical of your amorality, typical of your evil nature.

Reminds me of the USA invading scum in the Philippines.

Quote:
Leonard F. Adams, of Ozark, in the Washington Regiment:

I don’t know how many men, women, and children the Tennessee boys did kill. They would not take any prisoners. One company of the Tennessee boys was sent into headquarters with thirty prisoners, and got there with about a hundred chickens and no prisoners.

Fred D. Sweet, of the Utah Light Battery:

The scene reminded me of the shooting of jack-rabbits in Utah, only the rabbits sometimes got away, but the insurgents did not.

Theodore Conley, of a Kansas Regiment:

Talk about dead Indians! Why, they are lying everywhere. The trenches are full of them........More harrowing still: think of the brave men from this country, men who were willing to sacrifice their lives for the freedom of Cuba, dying in battle and from disease, in a war waged for the purpose of conquering people who are fighting as the Cubans fought against Spanish tyranny and misrule. There is not a feature of the whole miserable business that a patriotic American citizen, one who loves to read of the brave deeds of the American colonists in the splendid struggle for American independence, can look upon with complacency, much less with pride. This war is reversing history. It places the American people and the government of the United States in the position occupied by Great Britain in 1776. It is an utterly causeless and defenseless war, and it should be abandoned by this government without delay. The longer it is continued, the greater crime it becomes—a crime against human liberty as well as against Christianity and civilization........Those not killed in the trenches were killed when they tried to come out........No wonder they can’t shoot, with that light thrown on them; shells bursting and infantry pouring in lead all the time. Honest to God, I feel sorry for them.

@revelette2,
You all do realize that even if the U S of A did shut down all their spying operations all they would have to do is subscribe to all the private companies who spy on you and me to get all the information they need?

If you are suggesting I am not possessed of at least a "minor IQ"...you are reaching down further than you should be. I have a fine IQ...not the brightest light in this particular shed...but not stupid by any means.

Interesting. Why should "we" tell you about why we don't spy on every single soul on earth but that "you" do it is only known thanks to Snowden ...

@RABEL222,
Not antiAmerican, Rabel, information that accurately describes the sordid and evil history of the USA. If it wasn't true there'd be folks lined up to say so. There ain't, never has been, never could be.

Numerous chances have been offers for folks to describe good things the USA has done, no takers. Tells you all you need to know.

@Walter Hinteler,
It seems Frankie boy believes that all this spying on Americans will stop the violent crimes in this country. The FBI, local police, and the Department of Justice are given this responsibility. Spying on Americans have not proven effective to stop any crime.

Quote:
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FUNDING FOR LOCAL CRIME PREVENTION

Chapter One describes the basic structure and mechanisms for Department of Justice FY 1996 funding of State and local governments and communities for assistance in crime prevention. The two major categories are $1.4 billion in funding of local police by the Office for Community-Oriented Policing Services (COPS), and $1.8 billion in local crime prevention assistance funding of a wide range of institutions by the Office for Justice Programs (OJP).1 This review examines both the relatively small funding for discretionary grants by DOJ, many of which are determined by Congressional "earmarks" to particular grantees and programs, and formula grants, which are distributed to State or local governments based on statutory criteria such as population size or violent crimes.

These are the principal OJP offices administering both types of grants: the Bureau of Justice Assistance administers the $503 million Local Law Enforcement Block Grants, the $475 million Byrne Formula Grants, and the $32 Million in Byrne Discretionary Grants; the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention administers the $70 Million Juvenile Justice Formula Grants, and the $69 Million Competitive Grants; the Violence Against Women Grants Office administers the $130 Million STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grants and $28 Million in Discretionary Grants To Encourage Arrests; Corrections Program Office administers a $405 Million Formula Grants for prison construction and a $27 Million Grants Program for substance abuse treatment of prison inmates; the Drug Courts Program Office funds $15 Million (from LLEBG) to local drug courts. The Executive Office of Weed and Seed administers the $28 Million (from Byrne) Federal component of the Weed and Seed Program in selected high-crime inner-city areas.

Anyone who thinks spying ought to be limited to just people we know intend us harm...

...is way too naive to be engaged in a discussion of this sort.

I am not "Frankie Boy", ci...although to you, the guy who has become the most regularly and consistently insulting individual in A2K...I guess that is a necessity.

I do not do "believing", but I am willing to read anything you can cite that I said that indicates I think spying will stop violent crime in this country.

Pretend you are disregarding or ignoring this if you have to. Since you cannot cite anything anywhere near that accusation...it will save you the trouble of doing what you ask almost everyone else for (before calling them stupid or ignorant)...but that you seldom do. Provide the evidence that I suggested what you say I suggested.

The National Security Agency broke the law and ignored privacy protections thousands of times in each of the years since Congressional leaders expanded the agency’s power in 2008, according to a new report citing documents leaked by Edward Snowden.

The majority of the violations are related to unauthorized surveillance on Americans or foreigners inside the United States, conditions deemed illegal by executive order, according to a new report from the Washington Post.
