@Frank Apisa,
The foreign posters. Is this the correct way to refer to them? No insult intended. Like to point out the sins of the U S of A so that they dont have to acknowledge that they dont have any control of their governments sins. Most governments spy on citizens but because the fact is so well hidden they dont have to acknowledge it. Its one way to hide the facts from themselves. Just read everything on these sites. Its apparent that everyone points out the bad things in other peoples opinions so they dont have to acknowledge their own may be inaccurate. I think its called lying to ones self. This is true of everyone by the way on a2k.

It's the degree of criminality, Rabel, the sheer volume of criminality. In this the US is the acknowledged leader, by great lengths.

Y'all are highly adept at lying to yourselves.

Perhaps you oughtn't.

Anybody who addresses people with expressions such as "seems more likely" is incapable of thought.

It struck me as very funny that the Gov. of N.J. is at the Oliver Twist caper in Washington when two of his Garden State citizens are "full" from gnawing at a Chinese buffet. I hope we might all be assured that N.J. is not sufficiently devoid of funds as to be unable to process the resultant detritus in an appropriately discreet manner.

Your having had a "great beer" is not a piece of information that I find particularly excites my interest.

I presume from your fatuous reply to my post that you think, or at least it seems most likely that you think, that the little fingers of the geeks will discipline their natural curiosity and refrain from tapping any keys in a manner which has not been specifically approved by Congress?

Do you think that? Or do you think that it seems most unlikely that they don't?

It seems that you do think that the denizens of the inner sanctums of the NSA are by way of being a host of guardian angels guiding our footsteps safely through this brave new world?

I think they are just like you and me: which is to say assholes with an eye on the main chance and a habit to feed.

BTW--what evidence have you that the whole thing is not a put up job. A collage of soundbites, bits of video, some grainy to add to authenticity, op-eds, windbaggery, po-faces and manhunts?

I can think of a number of purposes for a new type of movie like that.

Ahhh, Spendius...I cannot help but think of you. You bring so much entertainment into my life each day.

For the record, our governor (Chris Christie) is a phony...a guy trying to pretend he is not beholden to the Tea Party zealots. But his actions belie that. In any case, I think he will have a very hard time passing muster with this abomination that the Republican Party has become. We are unfortunate to have him as chief executive here in New Jersey, but I would not wish him on the rest of the country for any reason.

Did you see the movie Knight and Day?

They apparently monitor everyone.

Should they leave Brazilian petroleum companies or French businessmen out?

Why, pray tell?

It is not true of me. I don't even point out the sins of the U S of A. Some of the trends maybe but not with any other intention than simply to discover their presence for those who haven't noticed them and to ground that presence in human nature stuck in a particular topography which, it goes without saying to a materialist proper, includes the tweeting little electrical impulses going on in all the noddles from moment to moment from sea to shining sea.

The U S of A is an experiment in freedom. One wouldn't call the readings on the instruments in an experiment "sins".

A poet would say "**** happens".

The hypothesis is that an experiment in freedom will not result is an irresolvable tangle.

@Frank Apisa,
There is a proper way of talking about beer which does not include mannerisms intended to caress the image of the self as something of a cool, sophisticated dare-devil.

I don't think anyone in my pub would associate beer with relaxation. It's a sort of madhouse at the times I pay my visits.

Then be sure to do it the proper way, Spendius.

I see.

There are plenty of taverns around here where the patrons would not necessarily associate beer with relaxation either, Spendius.

But I do.

In any case, I would love the opportunity to visit your pub with you one day...and see the place for myself.

It doesn't matter, you don't spend all your time lavishing praise on America, which is what Rabel expects you to do. That's why he's got such a big chip on his shoulder.

Whatever you say, you usually repeat it a few million times. Is this because you forgot you already said it?

In this particular case, it was that "it is not becoming clear" that the eve-dropping is used for commercial goals.

No you wouldn't. The toilets are so far below the standards of American toilets that I do believe you might faint clean away.

And if you opened your gob opining that to acknowledge what you do not know is a display of strength the landlord would likely throw a bucket of water over you. The very last thing landlords want is a serried rank of strong men acknowledging what they do not know.

As to restrooms Spendus has evidently never been in a U S of A pub at 2am in the morning. And opening your gob would probably get you a fist in your eye.

Well...I have to repeat it again, because you obviously do not get it.

IT IS NOT BECOMING CLEAR AT ALL.

You are supposing you know everything about the surveillance. More than likely, you know much less than you think you know.

I stand by my, "They apparently monitor everyone."

(Gotta repeat everything for you.)

It's not for me alone that you repeat yourself ad nauseam, it's for everybody and on every subject... As evidenced all over A2K.

See? Told you you were a liar.
