Huh? I don't remember him.

Hey this is an English thread. We haven't had a good peeve or argument in days. Does this mean everyone is contented?

The peevists are still researching, Mr McTag, trying to come up with something, anything to support their wacky ideas. Smile

Current peeve is that most people on A2K don't fill in their profiles. Anonymity is one thing, not bothering another.

Yes. JTT, you are an intriguing fellow, and post in a european time frame. Although you seem to take a bit too much notice of what american writers say. :wink: Am I close (with the geography)?

As a mere peevist in ordinary, will the new regime allow me to post here?

i don't know how i could have pulled that off, Mr McTag.

Ya got everything wrong this go round, Sire. I live in SE Asia.

{EDITED: I assumed the site would fix one's time zone. I was the one who was wrong buuuuuut when I checked it said GMT-7hrs, so how would that put me in a european time frame, Mr McTag?}

One takes notice of AmE because there are roughly 300 million folks who speaka dat dialect. I pay attention to BrE, CdE, AuE, ... also because, well, that's where life has taken me and that's what I do.

I gather that's not actually you in the avatar you use.

And a fine job you've done, Setanta! Did McTag help you with your self-portrait. Smile You're a cute little guy, and nowhere near 6 feet and you definitely don't look overweight, a bit on the pudgy side maybe.

Despite having added to your original response, you have not eliminated the misanthropic character of this riposte. As has been noted again and again since you began stomping all over this thread, this is as much a social venue as it is anything else. People try to be sociable with you, and in return, we get your ill-concealed sneers. I consider you not to be worth any responses in future.

Plus: there are more than a dozen of A2K'ers, who can testify this due to their very own eyesight :wink:
