@spendius,
Speaking of farts...those silly believers say god bless you when someone sneezes because they thought when you did you were expelling evil spirits. But I always thought if anything was evil it would be those evil smelling farts and it would be more apropos to say god bless you when someone cuts the cheese!

But that would mean that those folk who get indignant when somebody says "God bless you" would concentrate on silent farting and thus miss the best aspects of the natural performance of the nipsy. Unless they have recourse to private quarters.

A fast vibration of the nipsy is not something to be sneezed at in this sorry vale of weary woe we have all been landed in.

The Bible talks of "unbelieving believers". (example Peter)

So even the Bible teaches there are many shades of belief.

Some people believe because their neighbor believes (not a good criterion).

Some belief is centered around vast amounts of evidence and some belief around invisible deities and other lies that children (and some adults) are gullible enough to entertain, like the tooth fairy and candyland.

I tend to agree with Frank that science is not a belief for the most part.

Your compute works not because of "belief" but because of cold hard science, that is a lot more than can be said about how prayer works...

Anyone who cannot see the difference should see a shrink and be on meds.

You started it. I was only speaking metaphorically. I should have used a pub in the Sahara. Or Bingo in an old folk's home.

@spendius,
Yeah but I was talking about farts and you evlevated it to the "best aspects" of a nipsy, which I believe refers to a small brown sphincter...TMI!

If you mean these verses mate -
"The apostles said to Jesus, “Increase our faith!”
He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you" (Luke 17:5/6)

it means you either like Jesus or you don't, there are no "shades of liking".
Same with Elvis fans, they all like him, some can't like him more than others...Smile

You just are assuming a lot now. just start investigating and see for yourself.
Of course I wasn't aware of it either.

So what are you aware of now? That time may not exist, or that the universe and earth might have always been around, but somehow, that earth cannot be 4.5 bl years old?.. Something's wrong with this picture.

Gee, what is so difficult abou that???
I am only pointing out the number is wrong because of what I mentioned, circualr arguments and what have you.
I am not saying the earth can not be 4.5 bl years old. Of course it might.
However, I am disputing that numbers because it is based on wrong grounds.

But isn't it funny. those 'scientist' even don't know what 'time' really is, however, they keep calculating with an unknown entity! wow!

Same with light, 'science' still really doesn't know what light is ( e.g. there is no limit to the speed of light!), but when they read theri instruments and that has anything to do with light.

I alwasy have to laugh at the scientist and professors trying to sell ridiculous ideas by talking with a very serious tone!

a few days ago there was the head of a giant science institute, giving a lecture on "Einstein" Unbelievabel! and people swallow it hook , line.....

What's wrong with a little elevation?

It's just the same with evolution. People want to talk about it in a limited way and as soon as somebody elevates they run off kicking and screaming and mouthing insulting assertions.

They are known as philistines to realists.

Some nipsies are pink.

No, I am not envious at all, and hatefull??? , Nope, Hmmm How do you know?
You just don't know me but you cn tell how I 'tick' Very unscientific and illogical.

You just need an explanation why I say these things. But I feel pity for those folks.

And I understand, you have a religion to defend.

@Quehoniaomath,
Well, if you care enough to explain what you mean by circular arguments, be my guess...

What you feel is not pity. Pity requires a certain generosity, an empathy. What you feel is closer rancor, I think.
