You are incapable of understanding a simple explanation. What level of education do you have? If I had to guess I would say not much of one. Was that insensitive? Perhaps but since you want to play these games it must be brought up. You might be too young to fully comprehend what was described to you.

So...because you guess the stuff you guess about the REALITY of existence...anyone who does not agree with your guess has to be lacking in comprehension????

That doesn't make much sense.

Frank Apisa, with you having explained his maturity level to him he may understand better. Which should help his thinking process.

Let's sit back, relax a bit to wait and see how well you have affected him.

What is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?

By Tim Greenwood

The Word of God says that there are only two situations in which a man or woman cannot receive forgiveness. The first and most common is when they are in a state of unforgiveness. That is to say that they have been wronged (or sinned against) and they refuse to forgive the person, which we find in Mark 11:25.
The second, which is actually quite a rare occurrence, is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. It is this second situation that I would like to address in this study.
Mat. 12:31 says, “Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.” But what does that mean?
Too many Christians have been stopped right in their tracks after being convinced that they have blasphemed the Holy Spirit. In all of those that we have counseled that believed or suspected that they had blasphemed the Holy Spirit, NONE of them had actually done so. The very fact that they were even concerned about it was a very good indication that they had no done so. Much of the problem has to do with misunderstands due to poor teaching and some twisted theology.
Before we get into this scripture, let me lay a little foundation concerning the Holy Spirit.
For 25 years I was taught that the Holy Spirit was a power like electricity and not the 3rd person of the Trinity. This is just not so and the scriptures bear this out. I don’t have the space to do a complete teaching on this here but the following should not only sow this as well as illustrating a few other things about the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit can be RESISTED.
Acts 7:51 Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost:
as your fathers did, so do ye.
The Holy Spirit can be QUENCHED.
1Th 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit can be GREIVED.Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
What kind of things grieves the Holy Spirit? Read the next verse… Vs. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
The Holy Spirit can be QUIETED.
Zech 6:8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country. How can one “quiet” the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. He will never force Himself upon you. If you continually resist Him, or “say” that you don’t want to hear what
He has to say… He will back off and be quiet where you are concerned.
The Holy Spirit can be INSULTED.
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite (Greek: to insult) the Spirit of grace?
And finally… The Holy Spirit can be BLASPHEMED. Which brings us to our scripture. But before we continue, I want to recap that the Holy Spirit can be: Resisted, Quenched, Grieved, Quieted and Insulted – None of these are Blasphemy! This has been part of the problem. People (all too often Pastors) have wadded all of these things together with blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Others have for the sake of emphasis, thrown a few additional real or imagined sins into the mix as well. And this has destroyed the lives of many an otherwise stable Christian.
Look, according to these scriptures, you can resist Him, grieve Him, Quiet Him and even insult Him and yet not commit the unpardonable sin by blaspheming Him.
But, the Holy Spirit can be BLASPHEMED as is shown in Mat 12:31. Well, lets dig into this passage a little.
vs. 31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: What this is saying is that every other kind of sin and every other kind of blasphemy can be forgiven. The scripture says ALL! In the Greek language “All” is always translated as… ‘ALL’! (or every one). So what if you were an axe murderer? ALL! What if you were a child molester? ALL! What if you got divorced and remarried? (I bring up the last one because an extended family member of ours believes that somehow by committing this heinous sin of ‘divorce and remarriage’ he has blasphemed the Holy Spirit and is lost and separated from God forever. No!) ALL means ALL!… but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
But, there IS something called “Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.” So what is it?
Well here is what it is NOT: vs. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: So it’s NOT talking against Jesus! Accusing Him of all manner of sin and crimes, calling Him a drunk and a glutton, accusing Him of healing and deliverance through the power of Satan … According to this that’s even forgivable. So even blasphemy against Jesus is forgivable.
Here is what it is… but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Wow! That is rough! But what does that mean, “speaking against the Holy Spirit”?
Well it’s really pretty simple. “Blasphemy” is something slanderous and/or injurious to one’s good name. And the Greek word for “against” can mean “according to the case against” or “to the charge of” which is legal language. So what I believe this is saying is that “speaking blasphemy against” the Holy Spirit is like when someone one knowingly and deliberately as a legal witness attributes the works, operations and/or gifts of the Holy Spirit to the Devil or attributes the works, operations of the Devil to the Holy Spirit.
The Pharisees did this when Jesus was casting out demons by the power of the Holy Spirit. They proclaimed: “He cast out demon spirits by the power of Beelzebub!” Jesus stopped their mouths right then and there and straightened them out.
Now Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is NOT someone that is just parroting someone else or speaking out of ignorance. Paul in 1Tim 1:12-13 said that He had even blasphemed the Holy Spirit, but that he had done this out of ignorance.
This is also NOT just something stupid that someone casually says once or twice. This is something that is said deliberately – in abundance – from the heart. How do we know that? We know that from the context of the rest of this passage.
vs. 33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit vs. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. vs. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. vs. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. vs. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. He is not above using religion to accomplish his goals.
So I don’t care WHO told you that you have committed the unpardonable sin… a “friend”, a relative, a coworker, someone in your church, your Priest of Pastor or Satan himself… I guarantee you that you could NOT have done it accidentally (without knowing about it). You would have to knowingly and deliberately, from your heart of hearts reject and renounce the Holy Spirit and verbally slander Him and His works and character to others.
I don’t think a person like that would even be reading this article!
That is why you need to realize that you have not committed this unpardonable sin. Now you may have indeed sinned. But God’s Word says that He is QUICK TO FORGIVE all other sins. So ask for His forgiveness, and believe by faith that you have received it and get on with your life.
Don’t let the Devil continue to hold you in bondage. Don’t allow the Devil to hold you back any longer from your walk with God.

Paul is the cult leader, he is dictating how and why you should abandon free thinking and take up a mantra of mind control which is non other than his ideal christian view.

Blasphemy is just a silly concept. Think about, really think about. How could a god possibly think there is in any way a thing you could say or do that would make it completely reject you? It is absurd.

My reasoning comes from how I view humanity. From my point of view, I see everyone as wanting the same thing. They want to either be happy or content in their lives. Doesn't have to be blissful, they just want to be free from worries, fears, anxieties. They want to be content.

Now the problem is, we are not given the best methods of how to obtain contentment. In fact the achievement some times changes. One day your contentment might be easily obtained but the next day it might seem like it's a billion miles away. I call it a problem because our methods to obtain contentment sometimes gets in the way of others trying to obtain theirs.

Some people even take a path that is very destructive, either to themselves or to others around them. But ultimately they want the same thing as everyone else, they just chose a poor path to get it. It doesn't make them a bad person. It doesn't make them an evil person. It just makes them misguided.

If we were ultimately content at every moment, we wouldn't cause anyone harm, grief, pain or anguish. In fact usually when you are close or you are content, you generally want to share it, or help others to obtain it. But when it has escaped your grasp, you seldom ever want to help others. You would rather help yourself instead.

Now with all that said. How the hell could a god get upset that you say you deny the holy spirit? How could that possibly be an unforgivable offense? I'll tell you how it is suppose to work. It is an attempt to keep you embedded in the cult. This is the last straw. If you are able to say you deny the holy spirit then you have broken all the chains that the cult has placed on you. This is why they claim it is an unforgivable offense.

No real god would be so petty as to torture you for eternity simply for not believing in it's existence. But hey if I am wrong, and there is a god who is so petty. I would welcome the fiery pits of hell over wanting to be any where near such a being. If I have more compassion to not make such a choice if I were in it's position, then what does that say about your god? You can try to claim all you want that your god is not that way but everything I have ever seen or read about Yahweh, that is exactly how it is portrayed. Destroying the world using a flood to drown everything is not benevolent at all period. It is childish and stupid.

If a god exists, it sure as hell is not the one christian's try to characterize.

@Krumple,
I've never stated that I didn't believe. But that I never understood. I said in the past, how can I believe if I don't understand/how could I had believed in something or someone, a God if I didn't understand. In my heart I felt I couldn't let go though. There has been uncertainty, confusion and other like feelings. I don't want to lie about what I've stated in the past and I don't want to leave anything out although I can't remember much of what I have said in the past. So correct me or fill me in to assist. I do feel there is something I am leaving out.
Understanding things throughout my life has been extremely difficult for me. I learned but slowly, not as fast as I should had.

What I do know is that I can't live my life without God and I feel I must worship him. I have felt bad and do feel bad for my sins. I pray for forgiveness.

Does God Exist?

The answer is yes. God does exist.

Would you like to be blessed?

How to Be Blessed (Christianity)

God's specific reasons for extra blessings are promised in all nine beatitudes, from the fifth chapter of Matthew in The Bible(New Testament). Jesus Christ did not say that the first seven blessings were only for one nationality of people or for his followers only. They are open to you or anyone who serves both God and your fellow man. But the eighth blessing was for those who suffer for Jesus' sake. Each of the eight blessings begin with the word, "Blessed" because of your ways of being in the beatitude. The right attitude. An attitude is a clear "point of view." "The Beatitudes" tell you that God's blessings provide great rewards for the right attitudesthat He taught you.
Yes, Jesus said that as you show better attitudes--explained here--then you "will" be blessed in the following ways, as described in the scriptures. He gives His individual gifts of the spirit and even gives the very gift of faith itself to show you his love and presence--all between you and your Father together enjoying each other in both spiritual and physical blessings. Being in God's will opens wide His storehouse of blessings to you to pour out to you--to overflowing...
Steps
1 Humble yourself; "Blessed are the 'poor in spirit': for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."(Matthew 5:3)
See that this and the other eight blessings to obtain were explained by Jesus in "The Beatitudes" which you see are His keys to unlocking your very own blessings.(Matthew 5 in the Bible: New Testament).
Jesus promises that the poor in spirit will enter His Kingdom in this life! The Kingdom of God," Jesus said, "is within you."
The words "poor in spirit" mean to be without much pleasure in yourself, and although you have been taught to be self-sufficient and proud or your reasoning, independence: you must become smaller in your own eyes. If you are ready to depend on God for your blessings--not to manage your own life and make your choices all alone, then you are ready to be blessed.
When you admit your limits to Him--then you are humble, and God can then move in you and move you into his presence -- in the Kingdom of Heaven -- and begin blessing your life.
2 Repent, be sorry for your bad deeds, and be willing to change for the better. "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."(Matthew 5:4)
In this beatitude Jesus puts value on grief and repentance evidently that would be grief for your flaws. So mourn and--in the first beatitude--you were told to become humble, "smaller" in your own eyes, and rely on God.
Ordinary activity does not bring JOY, God's Love and hope. "If only... "--feeling your regrets, for what has been lost: peace, joy, hope -- and find "the broken spirit" -- a changed attitude about life.
Regret past sins, your damages to others -- and time that you may have been against, ignoring and lacking God's blessing.
Forgiveness removes selfishness and the guilt of self-centered life.
So He lets you accept forgiveness. Your guilt is removed. You are blessed, and you know God is real.
3 Be unassuming, non-egotistical."Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."(Matthew 5:5)
Here in the third beatitude, again, there is a word that gives some negative feelings. Meek may imply weak--as in lacking spiritor courage. No! Be strong but not violent, be able to endure problems with patience--not resenting other people or God.
Jesus described himself "I am meek and gentle." Able to handle conflicts, insults, crisis without egotism: "He's got it all together".
So He said that the non-aggressors would "inherit the earth"; receive an unearned gift. The recipient is an heir who, without personal effort, takes control and ownership of property--your environment--control of your existence.
God will cause harmony and will take control of your life to make it easier, productive and satisfying.
4 Seek right ways with an appetite for good. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."(Matthew 5:6)
Most people imagine themselves pure. You have never heard, "I did that to be mean and foolish." Doing any angry or revengeful act is embarrassing when your mistakes become public.
You need to make righteous choices for your own sake. It makes life easier. The apostle Paul spoke of a dilemma, "I do not fully control my actions. I do not do what I want, but do what I would not do."
Guilt and human nature makes your soul "hunger and thirst" for right choices and habitual righteousness; just like when you say, "I need something to eat and drink, now!" Also, built into you is a hunger to be right. You want to be seen as right.
Righteousness is the food and drink of your spiritual health: free from guilt, shame and sin: depend on God's promise to grow his righteousness in you.
5 Show mercy. "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."(Matthew 5:7)
You do not need to use complete sentences in your prayers -- just say "Thank You Lord!"; "Mercy...", or simply talk to Him, "God..." or something like, "Oh, God...". Just be merciful so that He will hear you when you ask for mercy. God is merciful and "will have mercy on whom he will have mercy" (compassion).
Inhumanity of man against others has always been a force in history. So that the past history reveals selfish, inconsiderate, and cruel -- oppressing habits that cause poverty, slavery, being disinterested in social unrest, not working these things out with generous mercy, but with great indifference instead, not seeing the needs of the hurting.
Jesus tied your receiving God's mercy with your giving mercy to others. The more mercy you give out, the more you will receive -- "as you sow, so shall you reap." You see that your mercy brings reward.
6 Be pure through faith. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."(Matthew 5:8)
Are there any popular radio, TV, talk shows, movies that consider purity and chastity as entertainment? Purity is found by concentrating on and dedicating to and seeking to right what is wrong by God's will and purpose.
Your loving God will reward you in his presence by spiritual means. So it lets you "see" God, free from the pollution of mixed up desires in thoughts, words and deeds."Cleanse your mind; clean up your act" and in the fullest sense as God himself removes your desire for impure thinking and impure ways of acting. God purifies your being from the inside.
"Seeing" God: knowing him as your Father (by being in His presence) is the blessing promised in this beatitude.
7 Be a peacemaker and be especially blessed!. "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called 'the children' of God."(Matthew 5:9)
Peace is a nice idea, as long as you get your way. Love your wife... and have personal peace and love according to Jesus -- starts by not returning evil for evil. He said, Turn the other cheek. Do what is asked of you and forgive each other.
Love unconditionally--treating the other as one would like to be treated, if the two roles were suddenly reversed: be kind to your enemy. Never retaliate--just let it stop now! Hostility stops with you -- impossible? No! He empowers you.
His grace is sufficient; pass it on. God oversees your life as you walk in his path, handles your retaliations for you ("Bless and curse not!") in His own way, and protects your person, even through the valley of the shadow of death. He continuously sends blessing, both spiritual and material.
Your Father in Heaven gives you what your heart/core desires(deep, right feeling) and real needs by his grace and through your faith. Peacemaking brings God with peace and harmony into your life.
8 Accept persecution. "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."(Matthew 5:10)
Some bad news--"persecutions," if you are righteous -- but don't worry! You will be blessed with the benefits of the Kingdom of Heaven, if you are harassed because your life is in Christ and his newness of life is in you.
Well, you are different -- if you are in Christ. This threatens those who don't understand life's basis: spiritual life. You have put God first, and so your outlook seems to be crazy to others, who do not agree. You are just "crazy enough" to have the best in this life and in the life to come.
9 Accept persecution (meant for Him). "Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you 'falsely,' for my sake."(Matthew 5: 11)
This is like people harshly criticizing (reviling) you because of your calling Jesus Christ the Lord.
No persecution is not the end of this thought; there is still the blessing. There is so much more blessing than the negative part... there is the rejoicing and being very glad.
10 "Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."(Matthew 5: 12)
Yes, He says you should rejoice because of the fact that you endure problems and troubles with people because you believe and live in His life.
So, rejoice through your troubles and through your weakness--for in Him you are made strong (that's another blessing), and you have a great reward in Heaven.

Have you read the passage?

Why would you ask that question?
Because it's self explanatory.
Quote:
For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left.
Deliberate sin by those who know the truth is not forgiven. (Although, the way is always open for repentance)
