@cicerone imposter,
Do you ever read any of my posts?
If so, how come you never tried to refute my comments about overpopulation?
@neologist,
Sorry, I missed that one! I'll go back and try to find it later today.
@cicerone imposter,
Simply this:
God told Adam and Eve to fill the earth. If you were to tell a waiter to fill your water glass, would you expect him to keep pouring until your shoes got wet?
Similarly, a God capable of creating us would have no problem adjusting the reproductive cycle while still allowing us the other 'perks' of marriage.
@neologist,
"Adjust the productive cycle?" ROFLMAO
@cicerone imposter,
Didn't say he would. Just figgered he could. Same point. When the earth became full, how would CI adjust the population? Shrink us so we could fit?
@neologist,
That's just another one of those bible errors and omissions that can't be explained.
@cicerone imposter,
I offered a possible solution. You didn't like it. But you didn't offfer an alternate, either. BTW, what would be so bad about marriage with perks but no kids? A lot of folks opt for that now.
@neologist,
Those issues were known long before the bible was written.
@neologist,
Any and all "ands" that you wish to pursue.
@RexRed,
Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! Isn't the silly ****** a lovely little darling what with him thinking up these original ideas.
@RexRed,
I wouldn't object to religion in the classroom if the various other beliefs, recourses, alternatives, etc were also taught
But neva gonna happen
It's been said, the trouble with school is it dunt teach ya
howta live
@dalehileman,
I don't object to religious history taught in classrooms, especially the history of religious barbarity and beheading in the name of fairy-tale deities. But religion in science class? Out of the question...
@RexRed,
Have to agree Rex, not in science class
Jesus's 37 miracles would make a fascinating study for any science class because not only did he seem to bend the laws of physics, but he said we could do it to!
In fact reality may simply be an illusion or "dream", and he may therefore have been a 'Master of the Art of Dream Manipulation'.
"You can be in my dream if i can be in your dream" -Bob Dylan
"We are such stuff as dreams are made on" -The Tempest
"Strawberry Fields...nothing is real" - The Beatles
"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one'' -Einstein
"What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes" (Bible: James 4:14)
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?" -Morpheus in The Matrix
