Romeo replied: Tell us what their "agenda" and motive was for inventing the New T, if you can..
Frank Apisa came back with: They probably had the same needs you have...to be done with the brutal, murderous, barbaric, tyrannical god that Jesus worshiped. That was easy.

Not sure I follow what you're trying to get at mate..
Here let me rephrase the question so you can have another shot at it:-
Why on earth would anybody invent Jesus and Christianity and get themselves rounded up by the jewish secret police and Romans and thrown to the lions?

Some people are simply nuts when it comes to gods. Why would someone hijack an airplane and fly it into a building for their god?

What I am getting at is that the stories that form the "NEW Testament" are merely (mostly) letters and writings of people with an agenda...namely, to promote the Jesus thing...and to get as far away from the god Jesus worshiped as possible, because that god disgusted them, although they could not put it in those words.

But Jesus DID worship the god of the Old Testament...and he honored and obeyed the LAW of the god of the Old Testament.

So...tell me, Romeo...would you have been one of the brave ones who allowed themselves to be rounded up and thrown to the lions...or would you have been more like Peter, saying: "Him? I don't even know him."

But if people didn't like "god", they could simply have decided to have nothing to do with him, why on earth would they want to cook up a whole phoney new religion and get themselves thrown to the lions?
And to answer your hypothetical question, I don't know what I'd have said if the Priests/Romans secret police had come knocking on my door, I'd probably have said something like "Yeah I like Jesus, he preached peace so what's your beef with me, I'm not your enemy!" ..Smile

Yes God exist, and he isn't hiding. It's just that self is a virtue. He wants us to become like god on our own and exist in bliss with him.

Well, when Sheldrake calls Randi a liar, he backs it up with hard evidence that anyone can look at. Printed e-mail exchanges, for example. When you call Dawkins a liar, what do you have to back it up? Once again, I'm neither a Dawkins fan nor foe, but I don't know of anything that convicts him of being a liar. Biased, yes, but that's another story. If you've got some solid evidence, please show it to me. If it's conclusive, I'll accept it. If it's nothing but rhetoric, like what's on that website you linked to, I won't. I hope you understand.

Yaaawnnnn
well, if you really don't see it in the article , ahhh well.

There's none there. That's why you can't copy and paste it here.

In actuallity there is a long standing scalar wave permeating the whole universe and it seems to be very very very intelligent.

No kidding.

It really now seems 'science' (that is mainstream science) is used to surpress this fact.

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets. I have come, not to abolish them, but to fulfill them. Of this much I assure you; UNTIL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY, not the smallest letter of the law, not the smallest part of a letter shall be done away with until it all comes true." Matthew 5:17ff
Jesus was one with the god he worshiped.

Answer this mate-
If the Old Testament laws were all fine and dandy, why did God send Jesus to give us the New Testament?

Because the Romans were about to obliterate every last old testament minded believer.

@Romeo Fabulini,
Now correct me if Im wrong, but accordingly, Jesus was sent to wipe mans sins away so they could come unto the father...not to give us any testament.
It was his disciples who gave us the "new testament" several hundred years later.

Whats with the revisionist writings?

The gospels were written by eyewitnesses, not "several hundred years later".-
Matthew was a disciple, Mark was was a friend of Jesus's right-hand man Peter, Luke was a friend of Paul who spoke with the risen Jesus, and John was a disciple.
It's only natural that the fascinated public asked them to write about Jesus, and the bible went on to become the world's best-seller.
Just like nowadays people buy books about Elvis written by people who knew him like musicians, friends, his wife, disc jockeys and so on..Smile

Where did you get that idea?
It was the New Covenant folks who inspired the Roman ire.

@Romeo Fabulini,
Most every biblical scholar agrees that mathew mark luke & john DID NOT write the gospels in fact evidence shows in the writing that several were penned by the same person.

Tell a believer that yogurt will make you invisible and he will demand evidence. Tell him the the Bible is the word of an invisible, undetectable god and he doesn't. Therein lies the problem. If you could reason with theists, there wouldn't be any.
