Enjoy the thought.

As for love warmth and tenderness, I prefer hot, nasty, monkey sex with no strings attatched...as it was ment to be!

When all that matters to a person are sexual organs, that person ceases to be a person and becomes only a part of a person. Guess what part that is? Hint, it is not the mind. Smile

Even good sex involves the whole person, mind, body and soul.

@giujohn,
Question

If you used to be a playboy but aren't one now -- well, then, what would you be?

Have you retired from the land of playboys? Confused

(This is all rather interesting. Cool Confused )

Well of course I was a little better looking when I was younger and I have slowed a little bit in my old age...but I concentrate on college co-eds and they help keep me young. I prefer them because they just want to have a good time, dont want a comitment, and can keep up with me!

@giujohn,
You don't even know how to define a soul let alone if there is such a thing.

Do animals have souls? Yes...

Define it first...

Now I'm quite certain that christianity teaches that animals do not have immortal souls and do not go to heaven.
As for a definiton...it's impossible to assign one to something that does not exist.

If animals don't have souls then what is the spirit? Spirit and soul, hmm maybe you should learn how things are defined before you start making blanket assumptions. That is after all the scientific way isn't it? Define something first?

@RexRed,
ok...once again there is no real definition for a soul because it does not exist...the scientific way is to prove something exists first before assigning it any special characteristics.
Oh and BTW spirits or ghosts dont exist either!

The soul is physical life, life does not exist?

There is soul life which we share with all life forms and there is spiritual life.

Now spiritual life "may" not exist but I assure you, soul life does exist in one form or another...

Soul life is contingent on breath and even trees breathe.

It is good to define terms before you dismiss them as untrue.

If soul life did not exist we would all be, well... dead.

People often confuse the soul with spirit because both are types of life.

People who lack any definition of the terms use them interchangeably out of ignorance.

Soul life will see you through this life and spiritual life some believe will see you through the next.

@RexRed,
One could argue that even an automobile engine had soul life because it breathes. Though a lesser form of soul life, it still has a substantial impact on our atmosphere.

Is it the engine that breathes or the fuel's energy reaction that breathes?
The ocean breathes in much the same way.

Many people breathe without brains so brains are not necessary to be a soul. Smile

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

@RexRed,
Can you bring a slice of "soul life" into the lab so we can examine it? Is it carbon-based? Is it an element or a compound?

There are many billions of specimens that you can do tests on.

Can you bring the universe into a lab and test it? Yet you don't doubt its existence do you?

I was once asked:
Can you bring love into a lab put it in a test tube, heat it up under a Bunsen burner and get hot love? Smile

Comment:
You don't doubt that love does exist.

I prefer Paul Feyerabend, but nevertheless, if you don't have evidence for your claim, you ain't got nothing but rhetoric. It's not scientism, it's common sense.
"I'll have that Porsche. The red one."
"Do you have enough to pay for it?"
"Of course."
"We'll need to see some evidence of that."
"Why? I've already said that I have the money."
