@neologist,
I think it was your own neologism, neologist. You can spell it how you want.

@roger,
Ahem. Flatulator is a real word.
Usually, I run unfamiliar words through Google before I post them. I can spell OK , but am somewhat dyslexic. Just didn't do that in my earlier post.

I didn't retire as of yet but I qualify age-wise. And when young I killed enough brain cells with alcohol to appear somewhat senile. I enjoy my age, most of the time.

@edgarblythe,
Edgar, you hardly appear senile--ever.

I think, retired or not, that old age is a satisfying time in that one doesn't worry about the same things as much and we have also learned not to let worry get to us as badly as when we were young. What a relief!.

@Diane,
Oddly, I don't feel stress on the job as I did six and more years ago.

@neologist,
Neo, as a long-time retiree I do not have to worry about zipping up my pants after a leak--I'm not an exhibitionist. But I still, as a long-time retiree, worry about peeing AFTER I unzip my pants. Embarrassed

Oh, and I sometimes worry about peeing BEFORE I unzip my pants.

@JLNobody,
Normally I wouldn't be offended by the picture of "old fartus emeritus" that Ticomaya posted of me recently. My problem is that I had lunch with him the other day so he knows what I look like.
In every other respect he seems like a nice guy. Sad

Besides, the dead brain cells were the slow stupid ones. The few I have left had to be smart to survive.

@cicerone imposter,
C.I., I was eating with my wife in the Plaza Mayor (central plaza) of Madrid, Spain when I saw a sign over one of the restaurants "Hemiway did not drink here."

@JLNobody,
Even though my second visit to Madrid was in 1996, I still remember Plaza Mayor very well. The picture is the Metro in the center of town, and the plate on the sidewalk that designates the center of the city of Madrid. I couldn't locate any pictures of Plaza Major.

@JLNobody,
At least you didn't have to climb 30 some steps to get upstairs to the gallery "rest room".. after some time waiting until things were getting dire. I had to go home and change once. Luckily home was only 15 blocks away and I had a car.
