@McTag,
Daddy has a harbor seal
it's gone on its vacation
Could be Poughkeepsie, maybe Omaha
that's the seal's own destination?

@jespah,
Daddy has a harbour seal
Hiding out in Beantown
And don't you know a smile is just
A frown turned upside down?

Daddy has a Harbor Seal
Who can't seem to stop shedding.
Swam all day in Fergie's pool
And skipped the Royal Wedding.

@chai2,
Daddy has a Harbor Seal
Who studies geophysics
The magnetic fields, he says
Exacerbates my cowlicks.

Daddy has a harbor seal
He's quiet and polite
To approach the unapproachable
Would not have seemed alright

I have kicked myself several times because I didn't say hi to them. I believe that A2K caused marital strife for whatever reason. I didn't want that rehashed. I am absolutely certain that if I said hello, they would have responded politely (and perhaps a little coolly).

That IS a pity - especially after we sent all those stupid things to his mother-in-law!

Daddy had a harbour seal
He brought it home for tea
The meaty parts were chewable
But slightly blubber - y.

Really, margo?
You sent stupid things to his mother-in-law? Smile
What was this all about, then?
I'd love to know!

@msolga,
Oh my lord, msolga. You don't remember the time the SealPoet had people around the world sending Twinkies to his mother-in-law? And please don't tell us you don't know what a Twinkie is.

Daddy had a harbour seal
Which loathed life in captivity
It cursed old dad for hours on end
In fits of negativity.

Daddy had a harbour seal
It had some tummy troubles
Swimming made it fart a lot
Which left a trail of bubbles.

@roger,
I know what Twinkies are, roger .... (you mean the cakes, right? )

But why were people from from around the world to sending Twinkies to his mother-in-law?

er .... is there some other type of Twinkie I don't know about? Confused

@msolga,
Yes, the little cakes.

Why? Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
