Daddy has a harbor seal
He took it quite away
Now folks can only see it
If they navigate away

@edgarblythe,
Daddy has a harbor seal
I saw them out one day
I didn't say hello to them;
They intently looked away.

(True story. I saw Mr and Mrs Sealpoet last month in a store.)

I would not have expected it. I don't know what makes people turn away that way.

Daddy had a harbour seal
It had a nasty cough
But Daddy made it well again
And then it buggered off.

Daddy had a Harbour Seal
He also had a Dolphin
He made them both some special clubs
So he could take them golfing

@Old Goat,
Daddy had a harbor seal.
Some people found that odd.
But 'twas a real improvement,
Last year he had a cod.

Its manners were outrageous ...

Something something ... contagious ? )

@msolga,
Daddy had a harbour sea.
Its manners were outrageous
He spit fishtails at the waiter's heads
and made them cry "God, save us!"

Now I'll have to work on that.

@Joe Nation,
Daddy had a harbour seal.
Its manners were outrageous
He would have thrown it back to sea,
But its laugh was too contagious!

Daddy had a harbour seal.
Its manners were outrageous
But if we tried to leave it home
The sitter'd have to page us.

Daddy had a Harbour Seal
Although I may be wrong
Atlantic Grey's a bigger beast
And makes a stronger pong.

Would have been interesting if you had just walked up and talked to them. Would they have pretended not to know you? Surprised

@Joe Nation,
You'll do it.

Daddy had a harbour seal,
Its manners were outrageous,
Then I found that what they did with fish
Was frightfully contagious.

@dlowan,

Daddy had a harbour seal
Its habits were peculiar
It swam straight out to sea one day
And finished in Austrulia.
