…...had me going since so many postings refer to an immediately preceding posting rather than the OP, which asks, "Why are there so many leftist and liberals in this website?" and "What brought you to here?"

When you ask of Res, "How many are there?" and "What number constitutes "so many?" I thought you were asking about my puns

Nope, Dale. I am asking HighResolution those questions. He apparently think there are "so many" leftists and liberals" here.

I really was wondering how many there are. I've been here almost since the place started...and I have no idea.

And I also have no idea if the number...as a percentage of the total here...is higher than the number in real life as a percentage of the total there.

Think I will get an answer from him?

I could do that too, if such were my inclination.

The only comment I'll make is that the OP here is a provocative racist.

Okay Tim but on what basis

I can't see anything even vaguely racist in the OP

@dlowan,
One could as easily argue they have more time on their hands.

Res that's really a good q

Having participated in a number of diff forums I've long noted that a given forum attracts a particular type for no apparent reason, a snowball quirk

Besides libs a2k also seems to attract esl and youngsters

Unfortunately, that this entirely innocuous post has garnered a-2 Thumbs speaks volumes about this forum.

Easily answered:

Liberals are more vociferous than conservatives

Liberals have less of a problem posting on-line during work hours than conservatives.

Oh, and one more reason:

Liberal dominance of this forum is self-perpetuating.

When anything other than a liberal voice enters the fray, it gets so much **** that it is likely to decide participation just isn't worth it.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Have you read any of the other posts by the OP?

I'm surprised that Set's response in this thread hasn't received 50 thumbs-up.

The OP is vile.

@ehBeth,
And so other posts inform your thumbing?

That says a lot.

He or she may or may not be vile but there was nothing vile about the originating post.

Take a look at the thumbs rating in this thread, it speaks volumes.

Maybe Set's post didn't get 50 thumbs up because there aren't 50 members of A2K who have a taste for bile.

sure

the original post was a question about the entire website

I can use a thumb to represent my view of the OP's entire posting history under its current and previous names

I can judge the Esel - and be mildly amused at the idea that we're annoying it

You can judge me for doing so

This is a nonsense question. Someone is trying to distinguish conservative v liberal on the basis of whatever personality appears in print. In other words, oh crap, he's irreverent...must be a liberal OR oh crap, he's irreverent....must be a conservative.. In other, other words, mox nix, it's pointless. You might as well study the shape of someone's skull or check their horoscope....it's virtually the same, sheer, unadulterated nonsense.

@ehBeth,
But I won't.

I don't play the Thumb game, but if I did it would be based on the post, not on my version of history.

But feel good about your approach.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were thick headed. I'm saying that this is a bullshit question where people take shots at each other on something as irrelevant as hair color. Do you really need more clarification or do you need more time to consult vapors as to the true meaning of my comment. It was one freaking comment, you have way too much time on your hands. If you don't like me, OK! It doesn't matter, I have more pressing issues to deal with, like who will come out on top in the next Dallas idiot contest. Oh, and you have my vote. Peace and even more kisses to my social savant.
