@Moment-in-Time,
Whether or not someone is gay shouldn't mean a whole lot on a lot of planes of human interraction, but if you are someone who works hard to establish a personna that is incongruous with homosexuality than it is not surprising that a revelation of your sexuality will be surprising to your fans.
I couldn't care less whether or not Nabors was gay, but he introduced himself to the public (for fame and riches) as someone who might be asexual, but was certainly not homosexual.
Rock Hudson made a ton of money portraying heterosexual studs. Good for him as long as he didn't get all righteous about reaction to his coming out of the closet.
I don't think he did, as a matter of fact, which favors his legacy.
Everyone who reveals themselves to be homosexual isn't deserving of victim status despite the proclivity of liberals.
If a homosexual has made a ton of money posing as a heterosexual, that's perfectly fine. What, intellectually, is not, is for them to announce the truth of their sexuality and then declare victim status.
Too be entirely fair, neither Nabors or Hudson did this.
