I was supposed to meet Frank for a beer tonight but he had some family duties. He's coming up to my place next Wednesday for sure. But I could have used a glass of something this afternoon.

Woot!!! It's really on!!!

Yesterday, some rouge internet individual texted me from a hidden telephone number without leaving a name. The message was: "Hey Thomas. We want to see you and your folks. Check into a2k and let us know when you're available." I answered "hi! My phone forgot your number. Who is we?" The answer was "Request Failed."

Anyway. Today I have to work; this weekend, I run the Brooklyn Half Marathon Saturday morning and will be singing in choir concerts Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. So that's pretty much booked out. Monday to Thursday might work for me (any time of the day). My parents will be on the road visiting friends during that time.

1) It wasn't me.
2) I want you to come up to my place on Wednesday evening about six pm. Snacks and Chat (I just made that up) on the deck.
Eva and entourage and Mame and the Calgarians are coming. So is Frank.
3) Remind me to ask Tsar if he can make it.

Good luck Saturday. I'll be on the train to the wilds of NorthWest Connecticut most of the day.

That was me, T. We are doing the Highline Monday afternoon but are free in the a.m., are thinking HOHO bus for two of them on the Tuesday, Wed. my SIL leaves at 1:30 - 2:00, and the other days are open.

You can call us at 702-860-8018 to be included in what we're doing or set something up. We are open Thurs and Friday - no real plans. That phone number is only good until Wed noon-ish. It's Sheila's number.

Tread lightly Thomas. Could be an illegal rendition and a vacation down at Guantanamo in your future.

"Calgarians"? Sounds like something out of Game of Thrones. Pencil me in as a "yes". I'll make a final commitment on Tuesday.

Mame, will you be at Joe's on Wednesday? Regardless of your answer, I'll figure out something for Thursday. (Friday could be possible, but it's iffy. I need to pick up my sister at the airport.)

I'm hurrying! I am! I just finished at the school today!

Went to Harlem today with Sheila and at turkey tails at an African cafe. Just kidding. We didn't like all the grease all over everything so we went to a sushi joint. Special of the day - two chicken teriyaki with veg and one drink for $8.79. I think we each had 6 - 8 oz of chicken. Wandered about for a bit, then went to Grand Central, had a look 'round, then off to Times Square for another gander, then home. Peaches Hothouse for their delicious food tonight.

Grand Central is lovely! And only saved by a strong campaign.

Love Japanese food.

More fun today. Seven for lunch (at the crack of dawn). Tsar, Nextone, Mame, her sister-in-law, her two friends, and me. We ordered a bunch of different things and shared. I was expecting a much larger doggie bag. The food was good. Everybody ate up.

Good people. I enjoyed.

It was pouring. Had a helluva time getting a cab.

That was the absolute best Chinese food I ever had!!! I thought bout ordering some to take home and now wish I had.

Roberta, if you think this is pouring, you've never been to Vancouver. We call this a sprinkle, lol. We need to hook up again so i can gi e you that do-dad.
