Eva, The 23rd is not good for me. I have a hospital appointment. Otherwise, I'm free.

I just looked at this all again. Why don't we meet on my deck about 6:30 on the night of the 22nd. Mame's SIL leaves about 4PM, Eva is free. Bring whoever you want. I'll see if Thomas and Frank Apisa can find their way here.
There won't be much, some wine, some cheese, some crackers .....I'm thinking homemade pizzas (maybe, if I'm lazy and you're lucky, I'll get one or two from George's.)
It'll will still be light enough to see the garden up here and watch the day fade over the Bronx.

Eva - I'm not taking my phone - the roaming rates are ridiculous. I will have my iPad mini, though, and can skype or email. Or PM on A2K. That's why I'm trying to sort things out ahead. If you can make it to Joe's on the 22nd, we can discuss the 23 and 24th. One of us (Heather) is leaving early on the 23rd, but Shelley and I will still be there.

I did the Gugg last time I was there, and will likely have done the Met by then, but we can hook up for dinner. I have a list of restaurants from tv shows (Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and also The Best Thing I Ever Ate) for suggestions.

Since you mentioned that it might rain, I checked the weather forecast. Sister and I will shuffle our schedule if it rains, so we're gonna quit making any more firm plans until we get there. We'll see what it's doing then.

Hi guys! I dropped the ball on Mame's and Eva's New York visits. I have my parents here, we travelled to Boston these past three days, and I haven't been online much.

Can you remind me which days Mame and Eva are going to be in New York so I can sort out my schedule?

I often travel-by-others, but rarely others I have either met or talked with for years. So I'm happy now.

I am at Applebee's having a Chardonnay while waiting for Sheila to arrive. Can't seem to get more than one bar (wifi) in our room although the others have no trouble. We finally got in at 7:00 pm, a mere three hours late. We went to peaches for their famous fried chicken and today we walked ato downtown Brooklyn. The others have gone on a foodie walking tour in Harlem. If they like it, Sheila and I will sign up.

Eva, don't make too many plans!
