@Thomas,
If I am counting correctly, 20 States are supporting the remaining 31.

@Setanta,
What part of your rectum did you pull that from. Anything in Wikileaks to support it?

@ehBeth,
Of course not, but it's amusing to see the degree of chauvanism you can generate for the imaginary USC and contempt for Jesusland

Anything named Jesusland -- regardless of who came up with that name -- deserves nothing but either contempt or hilarious derision.

@Joe Nation,
Good post there, guy. (I'm lately from Humboldt, some good grass fed beeves).

@ossobuco,
You can probably imagine what comes to mine when Humbolt County and good grass are mentioned in the same sentence.

@roger,
That wasn't a meant bon mot, but I'll let it stand as if I had wit.

I'm ok with pot but it's not my thing. I have never understood drug wars re pot. I can understand re coke, but am still not for drug wars about it. Heroin - who doesn't know it's tough on you after a bit? well, some, so that one someone somewhat bothers me. I suppose I'll let it through as a learning experience for the rest of us. Meth? What I know is ugly, no present final opinion. Probably that all the methies will fire up their houses and playing with it will pass as a craze.

If I ever, or when I have in future, have a horrible illness, I'd really like some pot brownies from time to time.

I think the government has spent zillions and created a stupid atmosphere that has bolstered thuggery, she says mildly.

@Joe Nation,
You,

North Dakota and South Dakota should be one State. The two dozen people who live in those territories shouldn't have four votes in the Senate.

Although I agree with most of your recommendations, including the idea about Austin (since it's probably the most liberal city in the south), and because our son lives there. Your idea about North and South Dakota into one state is excellent, but I'd throw in Montana and Idaho too! Mr. Green

@Lustig Andrei,
Actually Thomas did, but your contempt for Christians had already been well established.

Not the point though.

Call them "Crimsonia," "Sanelandia," or the current Liberal favorite, "The New Confederacy," they are all a part of American and the people who live within their borders are Americans.

Non-Americans who narrow their Anti-Americanism to this collection of states are merely being more specific, but what about American citizens like you?

In today's Sunday Times their is an Op-Ed piece by a professor at UNC bemoaning the fact that her fellow Liberals dump on Southern states. What's particularly amusing is that while she makes one passing and feeble defense of her Republican brother who lives in NC, her real argument is: Hey, you're right about all these Southern states, but don't forget there are Liberals here, or that there are nast conservative neandertals in the rural areas of your Blue states.

Proof that the NYT editors wil print anything that suits their opinions, she comments on the fact that NC elected Pat McCrory as its Governor thusly:

Yes NC elected a Republican as Governor, but to be fair...the Democrat challenger was weak.

That's being fair?

Only in a Liberal mind.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Damn, but you're good at changing the subject and, thus, muddying the waters, Finn! My hat's off to you on that score.

. Which half would that be? Are they the ones who voted for Romney, the pathetic liar?

The guy who contradicted almost everything he said himself?

Let's start with the 47%, then 100%, than they voted for Obama because Obama gave them "gifts."

They impugn themselves - without the help of anyone else!
