OK, so imagine that someone is allergic to strawberries.

He can choose to eat strawberries, even though they give him hives and cause him to have problems breathing.

So you can say he has a choice. He can choose to eat strawberries or not.

Why on earth would he eat strawberries, though?

He eats strawberries because he's a fool regardless that he knows he's going to get sick, but for a gay person its not the same , we could go back and forth all day on this issue, i'm done, its all babble now, why bother keeping it going, does it really matter , afterall no answer is going to be the "right answer" or the acceptable one.

I disagree. I think the right answer is: sexual preference is as inherent as an allergy to strawberries.

A person is not bad or evil if they're allergic to strawberries -- he's just allergic to strawberries.

And if he's allergic to strawberries, it's really silly for society to say there is something wrong with him if he decides not to eat strawberries.

In your case, I don't know if you are bisexual and truly can make the choice, or if you're gay but you feel unable to live as an openly gay man. I hope it's the former.

Nope I'm a happily married straight male and have been all my life, you're
the first person i have been able to have a decent conversation with, anyway i know just from this post that it's a very sensitive one, it got out of hand and I'm so glad it has finally settled down.

I realize that most people are not going to like certain things and this is one of them and that's fine with me, i was defensive along with pretty much everyone else, yet being gay in today's society is by no means easy but I'm sure the gay lifestyle is an interesting one, of course I'll never know

The only way to calm things is for you to quietly leave the thread alone. It will eventually lose it impetus. Your passive/aggressive comments are feeding it.

He's so Gay he's got a pink drivers license. And for the record so am I and I have an eleven year old son and he's doing just fine. We no longer live in the dark ages.

well everyone has choices, i could choose to live my life as a cat, and if i could find someone to take care of me, i could walk around on all fours, purr, eat cat food, **** in a litter tray etc
