Islamic terrorists attack our embassy and murder four patriotic
Americans... Obama continues to lie about the 9/11 attack...

Shouldn't President Obama and the terrorists be held accountable?

@Walter Hinteler,

Psscht: it was an attack perpetrated by Islamic terrorists that resulted in four Americans being murdered.

Shouldn't Obama be held accountable for his lies and cover up?

To show that President Obama didn't actually refer to the Benghazi attack as an act of terror, yesterday FoxNews ridiculously edited a video of Obama's October 12 address.

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2012/10/21/fox-news-sunday-dishonestly-cuts-up-obamas-acts/190797

This immediately brought to mind the Simpsons episode, "Homer Badman" in which the television tabloid show "Rock Bottom" similarly edited an interview with Homer Simpson to show him to be a perverted sexual harasser.

FoxNews doesn't realize just what a joke it really is.

@InfraBlue,

The Black flag of al-Qaeda was flying during the attack
and the Black cloud of Obama is covering up the truth.

Shouldn't every president since the US was established be held accountable for their crimes against humanity and their terrorism?

@Walter Hinteler,
One claim that's made about American spelling is that it's more logical. I can't see that that's the case with 'furore' which has three syllables, missing off e misses off the syllable.

@InfraBlue,
I don't see it playing too well except to fox viewers. Most people who follow these things and have access to Internet and can go directly to the full transcript of the speech. But then again, we are now fighting for those remaining "undeciders" who must not really keep up with anything to be undecided this long.

@revelette,
People don't always understand what they're voting for. Yesterday Channel 4 interviewed two undecided 'Wallmart Moms' in Michigan. One of them was a teaching assistant who's main concern was keeping her job. At the end of the programme she said she'd be voting for Romney, because she didn't like the last four years. She obviously didn't understand that Romney's austerity programme would mean her job would be far less secure if he got in. She was just thinking purely about the last four years without any understanding of why they've been particularly lean.

Some Turkeys do vote for Thanksgiving.

@Walter Hinteler,
Yes, it was only a consulate.
It was still American soil and American diplomats that died.

By saying it was "only" a consulate diminishes what happened.
I know you well enough to know that was not your intention, but that's how it comes across.

This is what Walter wrote.

The one person who said it was 'only' a consulate was you. So if anyone is diminishing what happened it's you.

You seem to have a problem distinguishing between what is actually written down and what you think is written down.

I haven't written something like " "only" only a consulate" at all.
I just and only wanted to point at the fact that the embassy is in Tripoli - there's only one embassy in a foreign country.

But contrary to popular belief, diplomatic missions do not enjoy full extraterritorial status and are not sovereign territory of the represented state. And consulates are just rented buildings - the owner of the said US-consulate was quoted a couple of times in the media.
So, "no", it wasn't American soil. (See: Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, U.S. Department of State - Legal Aspects of Diplomatic Immunity and Privileges )

You know, MM, a lot of you assholes really have a lot of gall. Ten million people murdered from the actions of the US, countless millions have had their lives destroyed, untold millions have had their property destroyed and you have the temerity to whine about four.
