Sign me up for this religion. I like veggies too.
Hey all, I'm a newbie just reading all this discussion caused by Bro. Laughing Micah and I just have to say "You go, Bro!"

Ps Portal Star, it's a really good thing you like veggies since it sounds like you are one.

I've always thought of myself as more of a pomegranite.

Micah, are you sure you're twenty somthing? You sound about twelve.

Why are you disn' Micah so much? I'm proud of young people who know their own mind and choose to believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost? What if He's right and you're "like totally mucked" in the spritual realm? What if one day, like the rich man in the bible, you find yourself in hell or where ever and realize that people like Micah were right all along? There won't be any turning back then. For me, it's not worth the chance! Not only do I believe that Jesus was the Son of God and is God; I love Him very much. Not because I'm good or worthy but because He died for me. To save me! My Knight (My God) in Shining Armor!!!! I feel sorry for people who don't have Heaven to count on!!!!

Oh, you're why Micah's brain is messed up. I was trying to figure out what caused it earlier on the thread.
I'm guessing he was lying about his age.

What is your religious group called?

I'm so sorry! I've been posting on the wrong site. I apologize if I've offended anyone here. I was looking for an intelligent conversation site with adults that have an IQ over..... well, anything appreciable. There was no indication that this site was for, shall we say, special....people. I would say, get a life, but you obviously have one and don't know what to do with it!

I didn't know the devil was game for "light as a feather, stiff as a board." This knowledge will make my sleepover parties much livelier. Twisted Evil

The key words here are: "...i's not worth the chance!"

We have here another person so frightened of the unknown that she is willing to pretend that all the babaric, superstitious nonsense in the Bible must be excused and rationalized.

She feels "sorry for people who don't have Heaven to count on!!!!"

She's wasting her time.

She ought to feel sorry for herself, for Micah, and for the others who live in dread of a monster god ready to torture people for all eternity if they don't properly kiss his ass.

These are sad folks. Not to be hated -- just pitied.

thanks dono!

the problem with these gentleman here is, they refuse Christs light/love into their life because they love evil and are way too selfish to establish any kind of relationship with God.

just as the bible has said about such men....

Crullers, however, are definitely evil. Bear claws remain to be determined.

If you believ in God, what do you believe you need to do about your sins? Can we ever have them completely wiped away?

I sometimes feel like God has forgiven me for things when I've said sorry, and I was wondering if anybody else felt the same.

if you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior, not only has God forgiven you, he commands you to leave them in the past and move forward with Him in your new and risen life.

they are COMPLETELY wiped away....but in order for Him to forget them, you also must forget them....

you will never stop sinning until the day you die..and this is why Jesus has bore our sins, out of love and so we are overjoyed.....and so you must be continually improving yourself by becoming self-less instead of selfish and always growing closer to God....

the father of our nation, George Washington was a Chrisitan (those that call him a deist at best know next to nothing about the man...) and he wrote in his diary (which has been authenticated by handwriting experts and recently auctioned) about how he even sinned in his prayers to God, perhaps because they weren't fervent enough or they were too selfish...how many of us would confess to sinful prayers...George Washington was certainly a Christian even though apparently even the smithsonian labels him a deist...His Christianity was well documented and those who say otherwise have simply been exposed to ill-articles by authors who hate admitting that the father of our nation was a Christian...this fact really irks them!

don't forget that prayer has several forms....supplication is one...but God also wants to hear about the little things as well, talk to Him like a friend....even simply being aware of Gods presence....
