Re: Forgiveness and repentance

I sometimes feel like God has forgiven me for things when I've said sorry, and I was wondering if anybody else felt the same.
if you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior, not only has God forgiven you, he commands you to leave them in the past and move forward with Him in your new and risen life.
they are COMPLETELY wiped away....but in order for Him to forget them, you also must forget them....
you will never stop sinning until the day you die..and this is why Jesus has bore our sins, out of love and so we are overjoyed.....and so you must be continually improving yourself by becoming self-less instead of selfish and always growing closer to God....
the father of our nation, George Washington was a Chrisitan (those that call him a deist at best know next to nothing about the man...) and he wrote in his diary (which has been authenticated by handwriting experts and recently auctioned) about how he even sinned in his prayers to God, perhaps because they weren't fervent enough or they were too selfish...how many of us would confess to sinful prayers...George Washington was certainly a Christian even though apparently even the smithsonian labels him a deist...His Christianity was well documented and those who say otherwise have simply been exposed to ill-articles by authors who hate admitting that the father of our nation was a Christian...this fact really irks them!
don't forget that prayer has several forms....supplication is one...but God also wants to hear about the little things as well, talk to Him like a friend....even simply being aware of Gods presence....
