Whatever date gets selected for the draft is fine with me, as long as it gets pushed back from next weekend.

@realjohnboy,
I feel strongly about needing a month. I haven't paid attention to baseball in quite a while.

The draft has been moved to Saturday, March 24 at 8:30 PM (Eastern).
We were unable to get a reasonable time on March 25.

I have a soccer tournament to coach that weekend ... won't know my team's schedule until closer to the date.

If I have to auto-draft, I will be expecting some sweet trade offers from fbaezer!!!

@Ticomaya,
I would heartily suggest that you just auto-draft anyways. your first week opponents might take it easy on you. maybe...

my newest squirrel is a baseball mom, and official scorekeeper person for her trio of aspiring ball players. she will be responsible for scouting the braves. a chore I always detested.

is george still one of those screamers?

The draft has been moved to late March. That is good in that it allows me to troll for two more A2Kers to join us in the A2K Fantasy Baseball Thread.
You, yes you, can join some of the least knowledgeable baseball wizards on A2K, as well as Fbaezer and Ticomayo.
Please let us know if you are interested in playing.

Argh! I was hoping to avoid this. Would a week night be better?

@George,
Definitely not! I would surely be coaching practices during the week. I've auto-drafted before, so unless I get 3 or 4 catchers ...

I'm playing the rodents the first week, so I shouldn't need that strong of a team ...

@Ticomaya,
Rhys & I would rather have you in the live draft. Any suggestions?

@George,
I agree it's best to let him pick his own losers.

then we won't have to listen to as many excuses...

Well, I have no idea whether or not I'm going to have a conflict, so I'd say just leave it as scheduled, and I'll hope the tournament folks see fit to schedule us an early afternoon game!

@Ticomaya,
I have an extra computer set up and tied into the net now. We could handle your draft for you while you go watch soccer or tennis or lacrosse or whatever it is.

which 4 catchers were you wanting this year?

On second thought, I'd prever Thurman Munson over Fisk. Thanks.

LIVE draft.

Last year, a son's medical emergency had me sit out of it. Stuff like this can happen to anyone. That's what pre-draft rankings are made for.
