I firmly believe that JTT is factually incorrect on many issues, but I also believe that his objectionable actions all stem directly from those mistaken beliefs.

I'd like to disagree with him pleasantly, but his namecalling dispels the pleasantness.

I saw an internet troll once on USENET about 10 years ago. He (or she) successfully sparked a furious fight between Star Trek and Star Wars fans about how a Borg cube would fare verses the Death Star.

But I don't think I've seen a troll since then. I believe most people on the internet are actually expressing beliefs that they honestly hold, even when other people find them objectionable.
